I am sure you are doing fab! I just saw Tanu Weds Manu Returns (yaaayyy) I loved it: D and it was then in the theater I had a realization when a lady next to me popped out a hand cream from her bag and slathered it all over her hand. 2 years ago, before my marriage I was so over the top taking care of my hands and later I got super lazy and I lost the habit of applying a hand cream. My hands clearly showed the lack of the perfect moisturization it had before, but somehow it went over my head and recently when I turned a year older I cribbed for being old and wanted to do something about it: D I want to be one of those ladies aging gracefully and all of a sudden I wanted a hand cream and here it goes.

Claims:
Banana beauty! The hand balm version with the delicious scent of bananas and dark chocolate is also a special highlight that pampers the senses! And care doesn’t fall short, either! The tried-and-tested 24-hour formula with shea butter and coconut oil gives dry, chapped hands the moisture they need to stay soft enough to caress – even at temperatures below zero!

My experience with Essence 24h Hand Protection -Balm Banana Dark Chocolate:

I have very dry skin on my body and it is a routine for me to keep slathering some creams always on my hands. I always have been a sucker for anything that smells delicious and that is how I ended up with this hand cream. The product is a Winter edition but as my hands are dry, I preferred it and as in Netherlands the temperature is always on the colder side and I also felt that as it is a winter cream it would give me the exact moisturization I would need.

The packaging is cute, it has a yellow flip-on cap and is tight. The cream is thick and has a lotion kind consistency and smells heavenly. The smell is a combination of a banana chocolate milkshake and a banana fudge, it smells yummy. We have always known that shea butter is very good for dry chapped skin and having it as an ingredient here is an added benefit. Coconut oil- It is a miracle worker known from a long time and it is the second most ingredient used here so it comes with an assurance. The banana and dark chocolate flavor are just cherry on the top.The cream provides the effective moisturization needed for dry hands and at times I have used them on my feet too and they are just perfect. It does not make the hand greasy but you can feel it is been moisturized effectively. The 24 hours claim is not very accurate as I prefer that it has to be applied a few times to keep the hands moisturized. Other than that I can tell that this is just pure awesomeness in the tube.

• The smell is very yummy and irresistible( at least to me)
• Provide effective moisturization needed for dry hands.
•  It is lightweight
•  Does not leave any residue.
• Non-greasy formula

Cons of Essence 24h Hand Protection Balm Banana Dark Chocolate:

•  Essence is known to release and discontinue the products often so I am not sure about this one.
•  Need to be applied few times and doesn’t stand by for 24 hours claim.

Would I repurchase Essence Hand Protection Balm Banana Dark Chocolate again?
Yes! I love the fragrance of this balm.
