Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil – Khaki and Aqua Blue Review

As I was a bit busy with an exam, so couldn’t surf internet more and just now got time to write a post. I have already given a short review on Faces Metallic Brown eye pencil in one of my earlier posts. This time, I would love to show you the swatches of two other unique shades from Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil range. Those two colors are:
-Aqua Blue.
-Khaki.

My Experience with Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil in Khaki and Aqua Blue:
I bought these two eye pencils from Fashion and You some few days back. It took 14 days to receive my order, which I feel is too long compared to other online shopping sites. Anyway, I saw different shades of Faces pencils featured in the site, which I didn’t find ever at my regular cosmetic shop that keeps all Faces Cosmetics products.
Some of the shades were:
-Black Sparkle
-Khaki
-Grayish Blue
-White
I wanted to buy a khaki eye pencil since a long time and thus placed my order. Fashion and You site was selling this for Rs. 225 and the other well known ones, which were reviewed by Nupur and Rati at Rs. 185. I had earlier seen the Aqua Blue eye pencil at the shop before leaving Kolkata and I really wanted to buy it, but couldn’t do that due to my busy schedule of shifting. When I saw this shade on sale at fashion and You, I was really amazed and ordered this along with Khaki one. So, I had to spend Rs. 510 including Rs. 100 towards shipping charges for these two pencils. I had a different experience with these two pencils. :haanji:
Pros of Aqua Blue Eye Pencil:
-It is the most pigmented eye pencil that requires maximum of one swipe for getting desired result.( Yes you read it right! ) :jalwa:
-True aqua blue color with subtle sheen to it.
-It has very fine blue shimmer.
-It stays for 6-7 hours without priming my eyes, yes much more than the Colorbar I-glide ones and I was myself surprised. :thumbsup:
-Doesn’t flake and is completely waterproof and smudgeproof.
-It has very soft and creamy texture and glides like a gel liner.
-Instantly brightens my face and this shade imparts a youthful appearance.
-Reasonable price.
-Safe for sensitive eyes.
Cons of Aqua Blue Eye Pencil:
-It needs to be sharpened so leads to product wastage.
-It is quite soft, so prone to breakage.
-Ingredients list not mentioned.
-Availability is an issue.

Pros of Khaki Eye Pencil:
-It’s a beautiful khaki color true to its name.
-Staying power is 4-5 hours.
-Its quite affordable comparative to other khaki pencils available.
-It is waterproof, smudgeproof and doesn’t flake.
-It doesn’t irritate my lower lash line.
Cons of Khaki Eye Pencil:
-It’s shorter than the aqua blue eye pencil. :pan:
-Its texture is not very soft. 
-Its pigmentation is really an issue.
-Doesn’t show on pigmented lids much, so concealer is a must before using it.
-Some 4 swipes are required for desired and visible result.
-It doesn’t glide the way the other eye pencils from Faces do.
-Not available at all cosmetic shops including those stocking Faces products.

me too saw the aqua blue at a shope months ago. but then got forest green instead as all my greens were over back then and i already have too many blue pencils mostly from chambor and bourjois. but will definitely pick up this faces waala soon along with jaded mint and electric blue from lakme silk collection :toothygrin:

taps , i was secretly wishing dat ur article shud come up and i am so glad its here, well the reason was I wanted to thank you for doing the review on aloe vera n amla juice by Baba ramdev, after reading ur review, I got the same for myself and touchwood most of my problems have been resolved, my hair fall has stopped, also the irritable bowel syndrome which no medicine cud treat has vanished. The green one looks like Maybelline olive green and the blue one like Maxfactor Icy Blue!!
ohhh acha, i havent seen the maxfactor one, maybelline one is bit more darker than this
