Khadi Herbal Face Pack – Lemon

I wanted to try Khadi for a long time. Most often my choice would have been neem face pack but this time another face pack caught my attention. It is nothing but Khadi’s lemon face pack. Let’s see how it fared.

My take on the Khadi Herbal Face Pack – Lemon :

The product comes in a plastic cover placed inside a stainless steel tin. I find the lid little loose. This is my first Khadi product. I am not sure whether it happened only with my pack. To me, this is not travel friendly. The face pack is in powder form. When used with water or rose water, it could be used as a mild exfoliant yet easy to spread with. I usually massage a little and then let it dry. I have been using multani for a long time. I can definitely say the product contains a high quantity of multani. I think multani is main reason for its texture.

The most tragic thing about the product is its overpowering smell. It almost smells like lemon peel. It becomes worse when you add rose water to it. The smell lasts till you wash the product. Khadi has advised to keep the product on face for 30 min but the product gets dried in 10 to 15 min. I don’t have the habit keeping a face pack after it gets dried. I wash it of in 15 min to 20 min at the maximum. The post application results are quite positive. It gave a cleaner skin. It claims to act as an anti oxidant. I guess it does. Though, it doesn’t give an instant glow. It will make the skin breath well. Second thing I noticed is it removed my tan to an extent. I also helped with whiteheads. If you have open wounds, avoid using it. It stringed very badly once on my wound :( I should safely ask sensitive skin beauties to stay away from it.

Pros of Khadi Herbal Face Pack – Lemon :

• Makes you skin feel cleaner and healthier.
• Huge quantity for the price.
• Removes tan to an extent.
• Helps in controlling whiteheads.
• It would help oily as well as dry skin.
• Act as a mild exfoliant.

Cons of Khadi Herbal Face Pack – Lemon :

• Overpowering smell.
• If you have Sensitive skin or open wounds, stay away from it.
• Lack of complete ingredient list.

This is not a must try kind of face pack. It does a decent job. It will work for oily as well as dry skin. It can be used for any season as an anti-oxidant. Sensitive skin beauties better skip this.

I like healthier looking skin. I might buy it again as I cannot make lemon peel. If you can make lemon peel or get access to it, skip this.

Nice review Fahveen……

I have tried 2 products from Khadi and only after that i realized that Khadi is actually good…i tried the Kesar Gel scrub and the Almond whitening scrub…and none of them have disappointed me……the price for every product is very cheap for the amount of product you get..each scrub lasted me for 2 1/2 months each….And the huge variety of prods they have to choose from is just amazinnng….i love Khadi…. :)
