Hair type: dry, frizzy with severe dandruff and itchy scalp

Today, I will be reviewing a shampoo, which I have almost used up. It is the Matrix Biolage Advanced Scalp Pure Shampoo. Let’s see if it worked on my severe dandruff.

My Experience with Matrix Biolage Advanced Scalppure Shampoo for Dandruff:
Packaging:It comes in a beautiful classy silvery white and sea green bottle. The bottle is slender and bulges out slightly at the bottom. Nonetheless, it looks attractive and is easy to carry on travels. The flip open cap shuts tightly with a click, ensuring that there is no leakage.
The texture of the shampoo is pretty runny. In fact it is slightly thicker than milk. I generally dilute this milky consistency liquid in water and apply on my scalp. I try to use my fingertips and not fingernails, to massage the shampoo all over my scalp and hair. It has a slight cooling sensation initially. It lathers well and gives a refreshing foam. It cleanses my hair and scalp extremely well. My hair doesn’t feel dry (most anti-dandruff shampoos badly dry out my hair), however I wouldn’t recommend skipping a conditioner post wash. It takes away the oiliness and grease from my hair, and there is a fresh bounce in my hair.
Coming to the part if it actually works on dandruff completely. My dandruff recently took a serious turn. Numerous anti-dandruff shampoos failed to reduce the itchiness and visible flakes.
I was very disappointed and dejected, at the failure of very reputed shampoos. I won’t say that this cleared my dandruff completely (I am currently relying on a medicated one), but my itchiness and flakiness got curbed to quite an extent. But my roommate says, it eliminated her dandruff problem completely, so there is someone to vouch for its efficiency.
Overall, it is a good shampoo. It cleans hair, controls mild-moderate dandruff well and gives a refreshing fragrance. The effects last for 2 days.
