Hello IMBB,

Today, I am going to review Paco Rabbane 1 million EDT.  I had recently bought this perfume as a birthday gift for my hubby.

You people might be surprised to know that I have never ever bought a perfume before this.  I am a complete novice in buying perfumes and always get confused with the fragrances. Thanks to the whole IMBB gang who helped me out to choose a perfume for my hubby and I can’t thank enough Kimi for giving me the discount coupon of an online shopping site. :puchhi:

So, this perfume is my first buy, but not for me, its for my hubby. :tongue:

Ingredients:

Alcohol denat., fragrance(parfum), water(Aqua), butylphenyl methyl-propinal, Coumarin, Limonene, Hydroxycitronellal, alpha-isomethyl ionone, Linalool, benzyl alcohol, Cinnamal, Eugenol, Citral, IsoEuGenol, CitroNellol.

Price:

It is also available in a 50 ml bottle. Other products available in the same range are shower gel and after shave lotion.

Product Description:

It starts joyfully with a series of luminous and sparkling notes. The freshness of grapefruit, mint and blood mandarin in the top note invite you to be charmed. Then comes the rare intensity of the middle note composed of rose absolute, cinnamon and spicy notes. A striking contrast, combining refined sensuality and asserted virility. And then we discover the ultimate velvety harmony of leather, white wood, amber and Indonesian patchouli essences. On arrival, the result is not one fragrance but a multitude which cascade out producing an original and strongly present trail.

Packaging:

I fell in love with the bottle instantly. The bottle is quite unique and looks like a gold bar and also has 1 Million symbol engraved on it.

The box is all golden and also carries the 1 million symbol.  The spray also has the 1 million symbol. I really like its opening. The nozzle looks pretty and does its job well.

Fragrance:

• Top:  Grapefruit, mint and blood mandarin.
• Middle:  Rose, cinnamon, spice and Blond leather.
• Base:  Leather, white wood, amber and Indonesian patchouli.

My Take on Paco Rabanne 1 Million EDT:

I had never heard of this brand before. So, I think it’s not a very popular brand here.  It had been launched in 2008 in UK and has become very popular there.  I feel the fragrance is quite unique and can be easily worn by girls as it has a feminine touch to it. It is a little strong and musky in top notes, but it sets as a sweet and woody smell which I like. I love this fragrance on my hubby too.

The guys who like musky fragrance may not like it much, but every girl will love this smell. :love:.  I feel the fragrance is not at all sophisticated type and it is quite simple and yet an elegant smell.  It is an everyday kind of smell.

I love fragrances that stay for long and this one has a good staying power. It does stay on me for about 10-12 hours and on clothes it lasts for more than a day.

Pros of Paco Rabanne 1 Million EDT:

• It has no musky notes but its rather sweet and woody. So, I think it is equally wearable for the fairer  sex. :makeup:.
• Staying power is amazing, lasts for almost a day on clothes.
• Can be used as an everyday fragrance as its not a very complicated smell.
• Unique packaging.
• I love to use it on me as well as on my hubby.

Cons of Paco Rabanne 1 Million EDT:

• It is a little bit strong in the top notes, but I love its base notes.
• Guys may not like it that much as it’s not a masculine fragrance and settles as a sweet, woody smell that many guys don’t like.
• It has a feminine side to it, but ladies are going to love this smell. :love:
• Don’t spray excess of it as it might get too strong.

Yes, this is a fragrance that can be used by both the sexes. .  I love the fragrance and I am sure you people will like it too. :waytogo:
