Dr. Reddy’s Strea C10 Pure Vitamin C Cream

Dr. Reddy's Strea C10 Pure Vitamin C Cream Review

Nowadays, every skin repair or rejuvenating cream in the market comes with one key ingredient – vitamin C. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that encourages the production of collagen, protects and repairs the damage that the skin has suffered over the years and improves elasticity.  My dermatologist recommended me Strea C10 Pure Vitamin C cream for the pigmentation and damage that I suffer from thanks to not using a sunscreen ( I am 24).  I must say this has been a saviour for my dull and lifeless skin, its a boon and I just love it. I have been using it for 1-½ months and my skin texture and pigmentation has improved by leaps and bounds.  I am getting complimented for my skin wherever I go these days, thanks to this Vitamin C Cream.

Strea C10

Strea C10 is produced by Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and is available in almost any medical or drugstore. The pack comes with 28 Vegiecaps of 0.5 ml, each priced at Rs. 1250, yeah a whooping Rs. 1250. Apparently, Vitamin C in its pure form oxidizes really fast once in contact with sunlight and heat (that means the vitamin C in all the creams that boast of Vitamin C is not going to work for your skin) and that is why it is protected in these vegie caps and hence its priced on the higher side.

Ingredients:

Pure Vitamin C.

Strea C10

My Verdict on Dr. Reddy’s Strea C10 Pure Vitamin C Cream:

I have completely fallen in love with this, but its like falling in love with a girlfriend that is high maintenance and that will eventually drain me down :hihi: ( I am a girl, just used the word “girlfriend” as a reference *chuckle*). I will only use this cream till my skin gets healed because I cannot afford it forever :(

Strea C10

I advise every girl and women who suffers from pigmentation, crow’s feet, wrinkles, dullness to use it for a month and see the difference yourself :)

Pros of Dr. Reddy’s Strea C10 Pure Vitamin C Cream:

  • Completely removed my crow’s feet.
  • Smoothened my skin and made it look even.
  • Removed my pigmentation up to 90%.
  • Can be used as a primer, before you apply your foundation.
  • It blends like a dream.
  • Get ready for the compliments that everybody will shower you with.
  • Does not contain preservatives, fragrances and sensitizers.

Cons of Dr. Reddy’s Strea C10 Pure Vitamin C Cream:

  • The VegieCaps need to be broken and for this you need to separate the head from the body.  When doing this, I have accidentally punctured the cream on my dress or mirror (even a miniscule amount of cream lost is a huge waste of money).
  • The price, sigh, it is priced at Rs. 1250 and lasts only a month :(
  • Can be drying for very dry skin.
  • You need to use sunscreen once you apply this as Vitamin C makes your skin photosensitive.

Anjum, good review, I instantly fell in love with this prod, please elaborate how to use, and when to use this also can we layer this prod with any other cream… thank you.

Thanks Akhila:) As soon as you puncture or break the vegie cap, there’s a good amount of white cream in it that is enough for both the face and the neck. Apply the cream all over, it is not at all oily, it just vanishes into your skin and makes your skin smooth (just like a primer).

I use it at night before I sleep and in the morning I have flawless beautiful skin. You can also use it in the morning, before you apply foundation, but be sure that you also use sunscreen after this as it makes your skin photosensitive.

It is suitable for all type of skins as it does not break you out, however for the very dry skin types your skin feel super dry after application of this Vitamin C cream.

This looks like a very impressive cream BUT you wrote : The pack comes with 28 Vegiecaps of 0.5 ml, each priced at Rs. 1250… so does it mean the pack is for this much or each vegiecap??? Im really finding a little hard to digest if its the price of 1 vegiecap

The whole box with 28 vegiecaps comes for Rs.1250.

Thanks Ife, as soon as this pack gets over I will make a Vitamin C Serum with Celin :)

I went 2 buy this cream after office 2day :woo: I discovered that there are 2 variants in this cream one with Vitamin C and other is Vitamin A (retinol based), since I have oily skin, i will get the Vitamin A one, retinol controls sebaceous glands, helps clear acne scarring and makes pores smaller

neenu, vic c serum is best used at night underneath your moisturizer. it is highly photosensitive . if you are suing during the day make sure that you use a high spf sunscreen to protect your skin. Hope that helps. :)

Hi, right now I am using La-roche-posay Active C cream with 5%. I love it to the core, but of late I heard many good things about Strea C10. I am going to buy this one this coming month, but my pharmacist is telling that it is already discontinued…Any idea abt it?

I use a vic c serum by vitamin c and it has shown great results on my skin. This one sounds awesome parita but makes dry skin drier makes me sad. :(( I use vic at night only because it is very photosensitive and I am not sure how much a sunscreen can protect the skin. Thanks for sharing. :)
