I know many of you are curious to know how many lipsticks I own and how I store them. So, here is a post where I disclose bit by bit the whole collection of mine from Maybelline. Let me tell you, these are not all my Maybelline lipsticks, because the remaining I could not locate, maybe are lying un-reviewed still, given away, gifted/thrown/lost/stolen, anything is possible. But by far, these are my Maybelline lipsticks, which I use the most and reach out to often. And here is how I store them in the box in the air conditioned room or fridge 😛 hope you enjoy!
These are color coded in terms of packing. Also, I am showing you two from the “Colorsensational” range which you would know by the silver packing. The remaining, “Moisture Extreme” ones are all color coded, so I have 4 of the red packaging; 4 of the beige ones, 2 of the orange ones, and hence I will review them in brief here, as well in groups.
Remember all the below lipsticks have been reviewed already, so please click on the Maybelline section in the drop down box on the right to read all the individual reviews. I know many of you will pick up a few of these after this post 😛
The beige packaging ones are:
My all-time favourite, a pinky beigy nude, full of luscious color with all cream and no shimmer or frost.
This one is a soft brown, no shimmer or frost, but has a sheen to it and its an orangey brown.
A total nude shade for me, a soft cream shade with a little glaze. This lipstick has a soft beige to nude MLBB feel to it.
Brown-based nude, it has a glaze to it, so I can’t call it my favourite, nevertheless very luscious.
The orange packaging ones are:
An all-time favourite orange. Soft, creamy, no shimmer and a very wearable orange.
A true peachy pink, it instantly perks up the face. This might look a little bright on dusky beauties, so get your base right before you wear it.
Maybelline Colorsensational Lipsticks:
I own just two of them. These are nice, but I like my “Moisture Extreme” lipsticks better.
A light pink with a glaze to it. This is not creamy, but rather has a sheen to it. This lipstick might wash out many.
A very favourite soft brown nude shade. I think this will suit most Indian skin tones as an MLBB or nude shade.
The red packaging ones are:
Its a shimmer shade with a deep plum brown color. It is very soft and pigmented unlike the other nudes. Party wear for me or best used as a stain.
This should have fallen in the orange packing category. This one is very close to the bronze orange, this one may be brighter and bronze orange is softer in color, no shimmer in both shades.
My favourite red, soft matte finish, very thick and pigmented and very wearable red. This shade instantly perks up the face and skin feels brighter. I dab a tissue on to mute it off.
This one is more of a soft maroon for me. It comes out darker on the lips than on the swatch. A little more suited to mature women.
There is a jewellery/makeup box I must have gotten for free on one of my splurges. Believe you me, I have a few more gorgeous shades like Dusky Mauve, which I have given away, but you can still check out the review on IMBB.
