Hello Gorgeous Ladies!
I am back with a product review today, bad weather, so no OOTD :(. I have been super busy during the last few days with family and friends. Missed out on all the action out here on IMBB, lots to read now!! I hope you all are having a great time too in this festive season. Have you all started making your wish lists for Diwali shopping? I started mine at a nearby mall recently. When I walked towards “Body Shop,” a sales assistant stopped me and asked to try their new range of vineyard peach body butters. I absolutely loved it and went inside to check out the full range. I ended up buying the Blueberry one instead as it was comparatively very soft. I added the peach one to my wish list as it had a great smell which almost made me feel like eating it 😛 It was not a wise thing to do, so I returned home and had some peaches with cream instead 😉

My Take on The Body Shop Blueberry Body Butter:
The packaging is nice and sturdy as always, love the picture of blueberries too 😛 The delicate scent of the body butter is the best part about this purchase as I prefer fruity fragrances over nutty ones.
I apply the body butter with a small spatula that can be easily cleaned later on. By doing this, concerns about hygiene can be eliminated to a great extent. The preference for the right kind of texture varies from each person. I personally prefer something that is not too runny and not too thick as well. The texture of this body butter is perfect for my liking.
This is how the texture looks like:
Pros of The Body Shop Blueberry Body Butter:
- The smell is very pleasant and it does last very long. I applied the body butter early in the morning and could still smell it during lunch at work.
- Doesn’t take forever to sink in, gets absorbed easily and at the same time, is not too runny. Makes my skin soft and smooth and it remains like that all day (very impressed with the lasting power compared to other body butters from Body Shop).
- It might be the goodness of blueberry oil that imparts a nice glow to the skin which makes it appear shiny (yet not oily).
- Finally, I believe it does what it claims.
Cons of The Body Shop Blueberry Body Butter:
- It might seem a bit expensive.
- Contains parabens as preservatives.
I would love to repurchase this body butter again, but will try finding one without parabens.
P.S. I found out just now that TBS has a sale online on this body butter and many others.
