1. Jumpsuit saree
Wearing a saree cannot get easier than this! Not many can carry a saree elegantly and some of us girls struggle with every little element attached to it. Well not any more as jumpsuit saree comes to the rescue. There is no need of a petticoat or a blouse. Jumpsuit saree is a single piece of clothing which is in the form of a jumpsuit but with a saree drape attached to it. You just wear like you would normally wear a jumpsuit and you can adjust the saree drape according to your liking.
2. Back to front shirts
This new trend is in rage all because of various fashion weeks. Would you dare to wear a button-down shirt which is buttoned up from the back and not from the front? Borrow an oversized shirt from your dad, brother or your boyfriend and wear it back to front. You can wear this with jeans, trousers, shorts or even skirts. Have a well-sculpted back? Show it off by wearing your shirt back to front!
3. Treggings
After leggings, jeggings, here come treggings! They are a combination of leggings and trousers. They are thicker than leggings and lighter than trousers. They have front and back pockets like a normal trouser but have the comfort level of our leggings! They come in all sorts of patterns, colours and designs from solid coloured ones, florals to striped ones! You can take your pick and stock them up for summer months.
4. Cropped flare jeans
We thought we had said goodbye to those flared jeans from the 70s but obviously we did not and flared jeans are back here with a bang. If you want to try this trend then go for flared jeans that hit just right above your ankle. These jeans should be longer than culottes and obviously shorter than your regular pair of jeans. You can wear shoes, wedges or even heels with them. You also need to opt for something fitted at the top to balance the whole look.
5. Chokers
These are not something new. Chokers have been here since many decades but we are not talking about chunky, heavy, necklace kind chokers. The chokers that are in vogue nowadays are thin, lightweight and sit around your neck like second skin. They look edgy, distinctive and come in variety of styles like tattoo chokers, fabric types and metallic ones. They go really well with almost all kinds of outfits.
6. Lingerie dressing
This trend was made popular by this year’s Spring/Summer runway shows. You just need to mix the sleepwear or lingerie items with your everyday clothing elements for a sexy, sultry day or night look. You can try this trend by wearing a cami dress over your favourite tee or blouse for a safe look. You can wear your pretty and cute bralettes and layer them over with summer blazers in tropical prints. You can also wear your silk cami as a cocktail dress considering it is not too short! Lingerie dressing is perfect way to add oomph to an otherwise boring outfit.
