Hope you all are doing well! Fashion rewinds itself, and this short compilation is the perfect example of this saying. Take a look to see how these gorgeous trends have made a comeback and how you can include these in your wardrobe too.
1. Peasant Tops
Peasant tops are comfortable, soothing and chic. A colorful and stylish peasant top can be paired with shorts, jeans, palazzo and even maxi skirts. But did you know peasant tops are being wore worn since the golden era and are recognized as a prominent fashion apparel from 50s decade?
From footwear to accessories and from apparels to handbags, fringes have been ruling for a very long time now. You might be surprised to know that fringes are dispersing its grace since 1950s and 1960s. Fringe style capes and tops were hugely popular among people at that time.
3. Floral Headpieces
You must be acquainted with the longevity of floral headpiece fashion trend. If you watch retro movies or old pictures of veteran actresses and models, you will come to know that floral headpieces were apparently used as a mere fashion accessory.
The cool and comfy overalls have also come from the golden era. In fact, jumpsuits and playsuits are derived from overalls and this is why both these wearables acquire some similarities. Overalls have their style and poise, so it should never be mixed with the pattern of jumpsuits.
Just like palazzos and sailor trousers, bell bottom pants have also come a long way so far. I remember, I used to wear bell bottoms at the age of 10 to 12 years which means that the trend was popular before 2005 (guess my age now! :D). But before this, it has been delicately rocked by fantabulous divas from 70s decade.
Just like some apparels, there exists a number of footwear styles that have had a lot of impact in earlier years of fashion revolutions. A lot of models and celebs were spotted in this trend in 2015.
Have you ever heard or read that denim is out of fashion? Denim is the coolest and the most common fashion fabric I have noticed so far. Moreover, weather changes have no impact on denim and you can wear it whenever and however you want. We will never be tired of this fabric. Am I right, girls?
8. Wide-Legged Pants
Here palazzo pants and sailor trousers are referred to as wide legged pants. Bell-bottom trousers cannot be included in this category because wide legged pants are broad entirely from waist to bottom whereas bell-bottoms are broad only from the bottom (as the name suggests, it has bell-shaped bottoms).
9. High Waisted Outfits
I am a die-hard fan of Sylvester Stallone, and often watch his old movies from which I got to find out that 70s (late 70s) and 80s were the decades in which high waisted skirts, pants and shorts were popularly worn. This trend has made a tremendous re-entry along with the comeback of crop tops.
10. Polka Dots
Polka dot style is sometimes denoted as an ageless fashion trend which is gracefully carried by women from all decades. From 1970s to 2015, polka dots have elegantly occupied the place in our closets.
