My Experience with Skinfood Beauty in a Food Mask Sheet- Kale:
The sheet mask comes in a white sachet. The design is pretty simple and basic. There is a picture of Kale on the top for easy recognition. The package is travel-friendly and it provides a moiturization fix on the go. There is basic information on the sachet.
There are several masks available in this food range and knowing the benefits of Kale, I decided to pick it up. The mask is white in color and is very soft and smooth. It can get a little messy when opening due to the sticky-jelly like product. It smells very pleasant and fresh.
Kale is one of the most common leafy food in Netherlands. The Dutch delicacy “Stamppot” is filled with Kale. The mask fits the face correctly. It’s a bit bigger for me at the bottom but, I tap it onto the neck area. It could fit everyone without any issue. There will be a lot of product remaining in the sachet. You can use a brush to use it onto your face but, I did save it and used it after 3 days. So, I used the sheet mask on one day and just the serum in it on another day. If you use all of it at once, it is a bit drippy and messy. The mask is very refreshing and it adds that instant jolt of freshness on my face. The mask is feathery soft on the skin. It doesn’t cause any discomfort or irritation and is suitable for all skin types. After removal, the product takes a while to get absorbed onto the skin. This takes a very long time. It feels like a layer of aloe gel on my face. I wish it dries faster. The product adds moisture to the skin and hydrates it. It makes my skin extremely soft and smooth.
Kale is known for its function to soothe tired skin and the mask does that effectively. It instantly lifts up my skin and adds a subtle healthy radiance to the tired face. The mask also tones your face and creates a very even looking skin tone. It soothes any redness and removes any dryness that is present. But, it doesn’t have any effect on blackheads/ whiteheads and a scrub is necessary to remove this. Even though it is a moisturizing mask, I feel a little dryness after it gets absorbed onto my skin and I usually follow up with a light moisturizer. The mask can be a good product when you need an instant boost of moisturization before an event or on the go. I feel the mask helps in the night if you apply all the serum onto the face and let it work. I have neutral reviews about the product, I do not hate it but, I don’t love it either. Sheet masks are not my thing and probably I will stick to mud masks as they are holy grail for my combination skin.

I would surely recommend it, but maybe I would never repurchase it as I prefer mud masks.
