Orange has many benefits when taken in and also when the peel is been applied of skin. Everyone out here knows the goodness of orange peel. Orange peel contains high vitamin c and it has a number of nutritious qualities that almost everyone knows. The orange peel is actually as good as orange itself, using orange peel on skin gives natural bleach, instant glow, closes pores, amazing skin toner, prevents acne and blemishes, prevents wrinkles, evens out the skin as well, it’s good even for scalp treatment and dandruff scalp too and so on and on.
I have very oily and sensitive skin and orange peel is good for oily skin. Just two days before I had gone to nearby bazaar to get some grocery and I came across a small counter of skin care products and I noticed this ‘Banjaras Orange Peel Powder’ I thought of buying this one for a change. The one with multani with orange mix which I had, got over a month ago and my skin loved it a lot .
Orange peel is natural cleanser, astringent and skin toner. It helps to tighten the skin without disturbing nature moisture balance. It removes acne, pimple and blemishes of skin. It also used for dandruff and scalp treatments.
Rs30 for 100gms.
How to use:-
Take the required quantity of powder and mix it with rose water or curd or any fruit juice or with oats or multani mitti or milk cream (for dry skin only) or any mix you like to use it with, which is good for your skin type. Apply all over your face and neck avoiding around the eyes area. Allow it to dry for around 15 to 20 minutes, rinse it off with cold water, pat dry and apply moisturizer.
My experience with Banjara’s orange peel powder:-
The product comes in a fine powder form nicely packed in a sachet. It smells like some dry herbs which is good but I did not like the smell. I applied it with cucumber juice that felt very cooling and refreshing but within few minutes my skin started itching all over my face, even after washing, and it lasted for around half and hours. But leaving that aside, my skin felt fresh, oil-free and glowing.
Pros of Banjara’s orange peel powder:-
• Easily available.
• Cheap enough.
• Lasts long enough.
• Keeps oil-free but not dry.
• Did not cause any break outs.
• Doesn’t dry out.
• Leaves skin glowing all day long.
• Reduces a bit of blemishes and acne.
Cons of Banjara’s orange peel powder:-
• Dislike the smell.
• Doesn’t come in an airtight container.
• No ingredients mentioned.
• Itches after rinsing off for around ½ an hour.
• When making paste it gets lumpy and is not smooth enough.
Would I repurchase Banjara’s orange peel powder?
No, I dont like the smell and the itch it leaves me with. Leaving that, the product is good, my mother tried this product and she was ok with it as she she did not get much of an itchy feeling to her skin. My mom’s has a very dry skin but her skin is not sensitive like mine so if you dont have sensitive skin, then you may try it.
Would I recommend Banjara’s orange peel powder?
Yes, only for those with sensitive skin (like mine)and apart from the itchy feel it gives, the product is good.
