Biotique Bio Clove Purifying Anti-Blemish Face Pack
Right now, I am in a phase where I am trying out Biotique brand’s products. A few days back, I picked up Aroma Magic products based on recommendations from IMBB reviews. Now, I am on to Biotique products. I have been suffering from acne and resultant blemishes for the past few days and I have been trying all the tricks in the book to get rid of them. That’s when I saw this Biotique Bio Clove and decided to pick it up since the label specifically says “anti-blemish” face pack.
Product Description:
This purifying anti-blemish pack is blended with pure clove and wild turmeric to control pimples, absorb excess oils, and other embedded impurities that can cause acneic conditions. With regular use, the complexion looks clear, smooth, and vibrant.
How To Use:
Apply a thick layer on clean dry face and neck. Avoid eye and mouth areas. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse with water or damp washcloth. Use daily or as needed.

Rs. 199 for 85 gm.

My Take on Biotique Bio Clove Purifying Anti-Blemish Face Pack:
This face pack comes in the same-old dark green Biotique tub and the face pack looks slightly brown and muddy in colour. The pack smells strongly of cloves and the consistency is not so thick and yet not runny. It is of appropriate consistency and spreads rather easily and effortlessly on the face, but the moment it is applied on the face, it stings (not too badly though), just about a little and I guess that’s because of the cloves in it. The stinging goes away in around 2 minutes and then the pack dries about in 20 to 25 minutes. Immediately after washing it off, it does impart a refreshing feeling, but then all face packs do that and that’s not the reason I picked this one up.
I was curious to see its effect on acne and blemishes. Though it does not immediately act upon pimples, it does soothe and cause the pimples to reduce in size, but fails to make them disappear completely. When used regularly over a week, I was indeed able to see reduced occurrence of zits and this face pack prevented new ones from appearing.
As far as its effects on blemishes is concerned, it does take time and the results do not show up overnight. It is indeed a very slow process and with regular use, I am sure it might help with clearing blemishes, but here, I should use the sentence “with regular use only.” :headbang:
I don’t term it as a must-have product for acne-ridden people, but then, using it regularly will help if not in a great way, some little way and it will do its own little bit for acne and blemishes.

- Contains all natural ingredients.

- After using it over a period of time, there is definitely a reduction in the appearance of zits.
- I will give this face pack the benefit of doubt and would like to think that over a period of time, it may help with blemishes also, but that would happen over a long period of time and with regular usage I guess.
- Comes at a good price.
Cons of Biotique Bio Clove Purifying Anti-Blemish Face Pack:
- Comes in the same old drab Biotique tub.
- Has little to no effect on pimples that are already there on the face.
- Stings a little bit.
- It may take up to a week to show its effect in reducing the occurrence of zits.
- Blemishes may take a very long time to clear up.
Will I Buy Biotique Bio Clove Purifying Anti-Blemish Face Pack Again?
Hmm, though its not a must-have, I would rather keep buying this once it gets over because it does help me have some control over acne albeit the results are not so “wow.”

If you are someone who is looking for instant acne treatment, this is not the one which would work instantly, although, if you are looking for something which would give you some respite from acne, then you can try this, but do not expect wonders overnight, it does take time to show its effect and it does take a hell of a lot of time.

Dee….you can try it with maybe curd or honey, but not directly on your face because it is very potent and might even cause some sort of burn if used directly….I think the best way would be with honey….do try it and let me know DEe :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot:
