Biotique Bio Soya Protein Fresh Balancing Shampoo Review

Hello ladies,

Today I am reviewing a herbal shampoo for you all, this is something I have been using on and off from last few years and repurchased several times too. Biotique is one of the first herbal product brands in India and this particular shampoo from them I started using few years back on my sister’s recommendation.

What product claims: This rich shampoo is a blend of pure soya bean protein, berberry and wild tumeric extracts to cleanse hair without disturbing its natural pH balance. Prevents color fade. Protects a perm. Promotes healthy shine.

Price: INR 99 for 120 ml

Ingredients: Badam tail (Prunus amygdalus oil), Rai tail (Brassica nigra oil), Soya (Anethumsowa), Banhaldi (Curcuma aromatica), Himalayan water Q.S.

My experience with Biotique Bio Soya Protein Fresh Balancing Shampoo:

I first used this product 4 years back when I got my hair relaxed. After the chemical treatment my hair became lifeless and I was looking for a break from chemicals. So my sister suggested me to try Biotique Bio Soya shampoo as that was working very well for her. I used this along with a conditioner too from Biotique. It reduced the dryness and hair looked healthier but no drastic differences were shown. It gave some moisturization to hair without weighing them down. Despite being an herbal shampoo it lathers very well and even for oiled hair one need to wash only once to wash away all oil and dirt. On normal hair one can skip conditioner with this shampoo and still hair looks soft and shiny. But for dry hair following up with conditioner is must.

This shampoo is not very runny in consistency and is white in color. It has herbal smell but not bothersome. It comes in translucent plastic bottle which is recyclable.

Cons of Biotique Bio Soya Protein Fresh Balancing Shampoo:

• Not very moisturizing for dry hair.
• Dry hair cannot skip conditioner.

Final verdict on Biotique Bio Soya Protein Fresh Balancing Shampoo: Good option for chemically treated hair. But if you want SLS free shampoo skip this.

  2. Hello guys.
Thanks for the review. It helped me a lot while selecting a shampoo as not all shampoo work on your hair when you stay at delhi.
I used this shampoo along with dove daily shine conditioner. Its working good actually at least better than other shampoos. But still I had been using it for a month but it ain’t working on my drastic hairfall. Other than this, its really good.
