How are you doing today? I am here to share my lovely shade from brand new Bite Beauty lipsticks which were part of my mini haul. Starting from my favorite shade, I would like to pull your attention towards this bright orange-red “Persimmon” today!
Price: $26 for 0.15 oz, excludes shipping and taxes
What it is:
A collection of high-impact lipsticks in dimensional shades that have been handcrafted to deliver extreme moisture, soft texture, and creamy wear.
What it does:
Swipe on bold, creamy lip color with Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche. Created and crafted by hand, Bite’s small batch, low-heat process preserves a balanced blend of lip-quenching nutrients, vitamins, and omega oils that are essential for achieving healthy-looking lips. Made with 12 edible oils and triple milled pigments, this lipstick provides saturated lip color with weightless coverage and a citrus flavor made from fresh pressed fruit.
My Experience with Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick – Persimmon:
The creamy lipstick comes in their signature velvet grey bullet packaging with a curvy cap securely housed in a double card board box. It has a pleasant natural fragrance which soon subsides. The lipsticks might seem delicate in usage but they are quite rough and tough as they seem perfect even after my 5 day road trip, surviving extreme heat inside hand bag/travel bags with no melting or signs of other damage!
My shade “Persimmon” is described as intense orange red which is true to its description; it tends to gravitate towards orange tone more. You can also say it is neon orange as it looks different under different light conditions. I think this shade is perfect for our wheatish, yellowish Indian skin tones as it gives a nice pop up bright glow to my pale skin tone. I am impressed to see that it gives nearly complete color pay off in a single swipe while I need second gentle swipe for evening out edges and finish; sounds like a blessing for beauties with pigmented lips as well!
Layering it on can be slight tricky considering its creamy formula and finish which might emphasize lip lines or other flaws. I say so because it does not provide any gel type of finish; it is a light-weight lipstick but with powdery creamy formula which shows up on lips. The lipstick seems stiff enough to survive hottest temperature without melting in a bullet which is so unlike creamy lip colors I have tried so far. This also implies that it tends to feel a bit stiff while applying on lips but I cannot describe it tugging on lips. It provides creamy satin finish on lips which sits comfortably for hours with decent hydrating properties without settling in lip lines or dry patches.
I can see my lips appear fuller and defined with this creamy formula. However, it can certainly feel tricky on cracked dry lips as I experienced the lipstick appeared mildly clinging to my cracked lips but blame it on weather more than the formula. I say so because every hydrating formula failed to provide seamless finish on lips as long as I was in LA while the minutes after moving back to home my skin regained the natural hydrating texture and these lipsticks worked perfect for me then. Whatsoever, this signifies that the formula might not be soothing enough for sever chapped lips but it won’t aggravate or accentuate dryness further. Like I never felt overtly drying or irritation on my cracked lips even though I used to feel need of licking my lips frequently (It could be an exceptional case of hopping out in bright sun for prolonged hours).
The staying power of this creamy lipstick is wonderful as it stayed on and on for good 5+ hours on my lips there by fading onto soft stain which is easily removable at the end of day. Over all I am certainly impressed by its texture, staying power and hydrating properties.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick – Persimmon?
I don’t have any major concerns with this lipstick and would definitely like to get it again. I like it more than the previous Bite Beauty collection especially over high-pigment pencils and Bite Beauty lipsticks. I would definitely recommend it to beauties dreaming for a non-smudging, non-bleeding, decent hydrating lipstick with a long lasting satin finish as well; this is one answer to all your prayers.
