EOS has always been famous for their dome-shaped lip balms, and recently, I came across one more brand that has similar lip balms. Blistex has been one of the really good brands when it comes to lip balms, and here, I bought one from their bliss flip range. Read on to know how this cute little one works!

My Experience with Blistex Soft and Silky Bliss Flip:
Packaging: Blistex Soft and Silky Bliss Flip lip balm comes in a cute purple coloured dome-shaped packaging with a lot of shimmers over it, which give the lip balm tub a pearl finish. It is little and super handy as well. The rotate and flip mechanism works really well but, I always get scared while closing it 😛 I just have to flip it, and it is ready to be used.
I love how they have added a fun design and made the lip balm in a different way. Also, I loved the way they did not copy the EOS concept and came up with a new design. The price is also very reasonable, and it can be a great gifting item as well.
Consistency, smell and feel on the lips: The lip balm comes in a white dome shape with little shimmers, but on the lips, it looks clear with a little shine. I wish it had a little tint, but that is fine. The shimmers look neat and don’t look cheap at all. The lip balm is a bit thick and waxy but, it glides very smoothly on my lips. However, it does harden a bit after some days, still works well. It smells really good resembling a blend of vanilla and berries. Also, it reminds me the smell of a milkshake, and it totally revives the senses.
Results: The lip balm is very hydrating on the lips. It makes my lips look healthy throughout the day. Over the time, it does treat my dry and chapped lips, and if used every day, it will very well repair chapped lips. The lip balm does not feel heavy on the lips. But, reapplication is needed after 2-3 hours or after you eat or drink something. The formula is nothing special, but because of the fun in the design, a lot of women may like buying this one.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Blistex Soft and Silky Bliss Flip?
I really like using this one currently, but this is a fun product and the formula is average just like any other lip balm. If you are bored of the regular ones, then you can try this cute one.
Conclusion: Maybelline should actually come up with such sphere ones in the baby lips range, and they will be a sure hit!
