So I wrote a review about the Bobbi Brown Art Stick in the shade Dusty Pink yesterday. If you’ve read that review you’d know that the colour was far too pale for my medium skin tone. But, since I loved the formulation so much, I went ahead and bought another shade – Electric Pink.

My Experience with Bobbi Brown Art Stick Electric Pink:
Electric Pink is a bright mid-tone pink colour. I wanted a nude initially but settled for a fun bold colour instead. It looks so pretty on my NC42 skin tone and could be a nice summer colour. I love the packaging as it’s super cute in its pencil form.
It kind of reminds me of the Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Color Balmrange, but with more pigment and better staying power. It’s far more expensive than a chubby stick but, frankly, worth the price. Electric pink has a much better pigmentation compared to Dusty Pink or even the shade Rose Brown that I tried in the store.
It goes on completely opaque in one swipe. The pencil tip makes it easier to colour inside the lip lines and provides for a flawless application every time you use it. If you feel the tip is blunt, you can always sharpen it for a more precise application.
The colour is so opaque that it covers any lip pigmentation I have. The texture is smooth, like a cream, and doesn’t tug on your lips during application. Even after hours of wear, it doesn’t feather. If you have extremely dry lips, however, you might experience the lipstick flaking.
Reapplication doesn’t make the lipstick look cakey at all, which I absolutely love. This colour stayed on me for about 8 hours without fading much, even with meals. It fades evenly and will survive light meals and drinks.
Heavy meals will cause it to fade a little bit. But even after fading 70%, it looks like your lips have a pretty pink tint. This colour does stain the lips and you’d need a makeup remover to get rid of it completely. In any case, I’m impressed with how long this stays on.

Summary:
I couldn’t find too many cons with this product. It’s a fun colour and the formula just makes it more likeable. The packaging and stick form make it easy to travel with and do touch-ups on the go, too! Definitely, would repurchase!
