My Take on Elf Blush in Pink Passion:

Many thanks to Neha here who obliged me to order some stuff from Nonpareil website and get stuff with free shipping charge as she was getting some stuff for herself too through someone. I never had any Elf cosmetics but as I had heard a great deal about its great products at such low prices, I instantly ordered just a few items for myself. This Blush Pink Passion is one of them which I love these days.

Shade:

Bright candy pink. The color may look intimidating at first in the pan, but applies as a fresh rosy matte flush. I love this color. It can look really natural if you use a light hand, or you can build it up to make it brighter. I think it would look good on any skin tone too! Bright pink in the pan, but on the skin, brushed in circles on the hollows, apples of your cheek glow. No girly sparkles, which look ridiculous at work @ 9 in the AM.

Texture:

It looks smooth and matte and in absolutely no way uneven or chalky. It’s highly pigmented, so you only need to tap a little onto your brush. It is possible; however, to over-apply it, but it can easily be toned down with a cotton ball.

Packaging:

The packaging is very sleek and professional looking for a drugstore brand. It is provided with a small yet useful mirror but no applicator. The packaging does not look cheap or flimsy at all, it is quite travel friendly.

Staying Power:

The color blends softly and evenly and lasts all day with little to no touch-ups necessary.

Pros of the Elf Blush in Pink Passion:

• Natural looking, highly pigmented, matte shade.

• Smooth and fine texture.

• Sleek, attractive and travel-friendly packaging.

• Easy to blend and long staying power capacity.

• Completely safe on the skin, no breakouts.

• Just see the price. It’s pretty awesome for the quantity one gets.

Cons of Elf Blush in Pink Passion:

• Availability. :-/

• The blush is so fine that a good amount of powder flies away and settles on to the sides of the case leading to a bit of wastage every time you use it.

Rating:

3.75/5 for the shade I own.

Do I Recommend/Will I Repurchase:

Yes. If you are buying a blush for the first time and need great quality stuff at such cheap prices, then go ahead and try these for sure. There are some lovely shades to choose from.

I have applied the blush with a light hand swirling my blusher brush just once in the pan.

Under artificial light.

Nids

Natural light.
