Hello IMBB ladies,

Today I am going to review an Eyeshadow from Bourjois in shade “34 rose tentation”. I bought it online and “rose” word tempted me. I love doing eye makeup and I’m more of an eye person than lip person. I don’t have much lipsticks but I do have lots of eye shadows, eye liners, kajal etc :P. So, you can expect lot’s of review in this department from my side. 😛 Anyways, coming back to the review. 😀

My Experience with Bourjois Eyeshadow 34 Rose Tentation:

The Bourjois eye shadow comes in a nice cute pink pot which fits my palm easily. The color of the packaging is similar to the shade which is good for people like me who has tons of eyeshadow shades in vanity. 😀 It has an in-build mirror which makes it travel friendly and you can carry it in your handbag easily. It also contains an applicator brush which I hardly use ;).

The shade is light pink with lots of green shimmers in it, in the images it’s looking silver but in actual it’s a nice peachy shade. It’s a baked eyeshadow and thus the texture in pan looks hard but it’s silky smooth when applied on eyes. The shade doesn’t show much when used dry, which happens with every baked products so you need to use it with wet eyeshadow brush. When used wet, the color shows in single swipe only. I also use it for highlighting as it has silvery touch ;). You can also use with other matte eye shadows to make your eyes more appealing. It has shimmers in it but they are not chunky and do not look OTT at all. You can wear the day during day time or night. It has lots of shimmers but they do not spread all over the face unlike other shimmery eye shadows. The staying power is awesome and it stays for around 5 hours on my eyes without using a primer which is commendable. If you want to increase the staying power then use primer beneath it. I have not experienced any fall out with it.

I sometimes use it as blush too as the shade is light pink which looks natural and the shimmers impart a nice sheen to my face. Overall, I think it’s a good product which can be used as an eye shadow, highlighter and blush. 😀 😀

• Nice light pink shade with gold in it
• Comes with inbuilt mirror
• Can be used for highlighting
• Smooth texture which glides easily on eye lids
• Highly pigmented when used wet
• Long lasting
• No fall out at all
• Can be used on matte eye shadows to get that extra oomph
• Can be used as blush too
• I also use it as blush sometimes 😛
• Shimmers don’t fall all over the face

Cons of Bourjois Eyeshadow 34 Rose Tentation:

• Expensive when compared with other brands
• I wish the pink shade was more visible
• The color is not visible when used dry

Yes, if you like the shade then do try it as it stays for long without any fall out and you can use it as eyeshadow, highlighter or blush. 😉
