My experience with Bourjois Ombre a Paupieres Eyeshadow 92 Gris Pailettes

It comes as a small cute pan with a closed lid. The body of the eye shadow is colored the same as the shade. When you open it the eye shadow surface is covered with a paper sheet, there is an ultra cute eye shadow applicator (which has no use though) and the opened lid has mirror on the inner side. I loved the packaging on the first sight

The eye shadow shade is a greyish black with a lot of silver shimmer. This is very apt for smoky eyes look or for the outer corner of the eye with other eye shadow shades as well. Now, again with this one as well, if I use it with a dry brush, there is so much of powder flying in the air and pigmentation is zero. If I repeat the patting process 2-3 times, I can see a faint grayish hue on the lids with a lot of fall out. Now, if I take wet brush, swipe it on the shadow surface and transfer it on the lid, the pigmentation is very good and a lot better than the previous one I reviewed. The thing I do not like in this is that there is a lot of shimmer, not micro shimmer but shimmer particles. They tend to fall on the face while applying and then removing them is a mess. Also the shadow surface is hard and a little difficult to work with.

This one is a lot better than the previous one in terms of staying power as well. It stays for good 3-4 hours, after which the shimmers are more prominent.Overall, this eye shadow would have been perfect if the shimmers were a little lesser or the shimmer particles would have been very fine ones.

Also, if I try using it with the applicator provided, the applicator turns all black but does not transfer anything on the lid. So, these cute applicators have no use there but I can put them to use by washing them and using them for cleaning my eye makeup under the lower lash line precisely. It is perfect for that purpose.

Why I like Bourjois Ombre a Paupieres Eyeshadow 92 Gris Pailettes

• Built in mirror.
• Pretty shade for smoky eyes on using wet brush.
• Paraben free.

Why I do not like Bourjois Ombre a Paupieres Eyeshadow 92 Gris Pailettes:

• Not easy to work with, it is a bit hard and you have to wet the brush each time before dabbing the color on the lids.
• Shimmers are messy and fall out too.
• High price compared to the quality.
• Applicator is of no use in applying eye shadow.

No. Though it is ok for me, but I would still get Inglot for this price.
