Hope you all are doing good. The weather in Mumbai these days is pleasnt, because of the rains. Anyways, I was not much of an eyeshadow person, but then IMBB entered my life, and I saw these amazing tutorials and eye looks created and that is how I ventured into them This was the first ever eyeshadow I purchased. Bourjois Paris is a good brand and I really like their healthy skin foundation and eye contour pencils. So I went ahead and bought an eye shadow as well.

Price– Rs. 445 (I bought it for 380 Rs after discount)

Quantity– 1.5 grams.

Packaging-

The eyeshadow comes in a small round pot. Each pot is the color of the eye shadow itself. This one is creamy white color. It has a mirror as well as a small applicator. The packaging is very good. The applicator is good, but I prefer it only during emergencies.

My experience with Bourjois Paris Eye shadow Ombre Paupieres- 94

I don’t know why it took me so long to review this eye shadow, the shade is beautiful and perfect for highlighting inner corners of eyes and brow bone, but then the texture is pretty okay. The color of the eye shadow is off white or a creamy white shade with subtle golden shimmers. I tried it both ways wet and dry. When used dry it looks a bit chalky and the color payoff is not the best. When used wet it gives more color payoff and also it looks way more shimmery and intense than used dry. When compared with other eye shadows I have, this one is very very powdery. When you swirl the the brush in the pan, there is a lot of fall out. Also when applied on primed eyelids there is fallout everywhere and makes everything messy. The eye shadow itself is so hard, powdery and messy. The texture is not at all soft. I am not sure if this is with all of them, as I have one more shade from this range but that is complete opposite, it is very soft and smooth and blends like a dream. Where as with this one blending is not very easy. You can see from the pic, I have barely used this eye shadow. I hardly use it as a brow bone highlighter. This particular shade is not very shimmery, but I wish the texture was good. It stays for 4- hours on primed lids when used dry and when used wet it stays on for around 6 hours. I had good expectations with this product, considering the price and brand. But I still went ahead and ordered two more bourjois eye shadows as a part of online discounts. Let’s see how it fares out.

• Can be used as brow bone and inner corner highlighter
• The packaging is travel friendly
• Fragrance and paraben free

Cons of Bourjois Paris Eyeshadow Ombre Paupieres – 94:

• Application is a mess
• When used dry color payoff is not so good
• Powdery and hard
• Lot of fallout
• Expensive

Recommendation–

I do not recommend this particular eye shadow.
