Coloressence Dual Colour Premium Eye Shades in Blue Moon

Hello my friends,

Hope everyone is doing great. I would like to thank all for the encouragement I got for my first review and it really feels great to be an IMBBian 🙂 now, and so I am back with another review. Today I will be reviewing Coloressence Dual Colour Premium Eye Shade in Blue Moon (light blue and dark blue).

Coloressence Dual Colour Premium Eye Shades in Blue Moon

I got this one when I was just beginning to collect makeup products and depended on SAs completely (now it’s just IMBB for me). I went to the store and asked for a white eyeliner pencil but, as it was not available, I asked for a silver eyeliner and the SA showed me this one and swatched on my hand, maybe because of the lights it looked silver to me and I bought it without even checking the label (how foolish of me). But to my surprise when I checked it at home I realized that it’s a different shade and also that it is an eye shadow pencil rather than an eye liner pencil. So that was my small story just to let you all know how misleading the SAs can be, now lets begin with the review.

My experience with Coloressence Dual Colour Premium Eye Shades in Blue Moon:

Even though it is an eye shadow I tried using it on my waterline. Both the colors looked splendid but could not stay even for 20 minutes or so and started smudging making my eyes look horrible at the end, and it did sting for a while. I used it again on the waterline after applying primer, foundation, and compact around the eye area to prevent it from smudging and then it stayed for around 2 to 3 hours but it did make my under eye area slightly bluish. I did this because the dark blue shade looked really good on the waterline and I wanted it not to smudge but it did. I love both the colors and when I line the upper eyelid with this it stays for quite a few hours and looks good too. So I was happy that at least I could use it this way. It gives a popping effect to my small eyes which I love the most. The product is shiny, smooth, and has no glitters. As an eye shadow it stays for a maximum 3 hours and creases badly, maybe a good base will make it stay longer. I hate the creasing part so I don’t use it as an eye shadow. It transfers very easily to your fingers and it requires a makeup remover to completely get rid of it.

  1. I remember Oriflame had such duos.. they worked good for me… *powder*

colors are really attractive.. *drool* and i too love blue on my waterline *haan ji*

  2. matte bronzer – Bourjois had one – very pretty chocolate squares -check for the old stock. OR use loreal true match powder in cocoa. Highlighter – try a lighter shade of concealer maybe. Revlon photoready concealers- check those. Mac has sculpting palettes and creams as well.

  3. The colours are sooo pretty na *happy dance* *happy dance* if it was good then i would have totally bought it looking at the pigmentation *happy dance* *happy dance*
