Hello Beautiful ladies,
I hope you all are doing well. Winters have always been my favorite season, but winters means dry/patchy skin, chapped lips, dry hair, eww! I have combination skin and it has always been hard for me to find a suitable foundation that doesn’t break me out, doesn’t make me look patchy and also something which is moisturizing. I have recently purchased a foundation that has completely let me down 🙁 The product I am going to review is Coloressence HD High-Definition Foundation.
High-Definition Foundation makes skin smooth and flawless. Its active ingredients help the skin in revitalizing and correcting visible signs of ageing. Ideal for everyday use. With SPF-20, it covers skin imperfections flawlessly while remaining invisible.
Vitamin E, Ethylhexyl Methoxy Cinnamate, Titanium Dioxide. Ethylhexyl Methoxy Cinnamate (also called Octyl Methoxy Cinnamate) is an active ingredient in sunscreen products. It absorbs, reflect or scatter UV rays.

My Take on Coloressence HD High Definition Foundation:
The most difficult part while purchasing a foundation is to pick the right shade.
Packaging: It comes in a glass bottle with a pump dispenser which makes it hygienic to use and doesn’t lead to any wastage.
Shade Selection: This foundation comes in 5 shades. The shade I picked up is HDF-3. This shade was actually recommended by the sales girl, as it was becoming hard to choose and let me warn you guys, never ever listen to those girls until and unless you are buying foundation from high-end brands. I have dusky complexion, thus the shade isn’t perfect for me, but the darker shade was too dark. Keeping my mistake aside, I would say oily/combination skin beauties would love this product if you find the right shade.
Consistency: The consistency is more like a whipped form. It easily blends into the skin. Apart from this, the foundation dries up quickly, thus, you need to work a bit faster.
Coverage: This foundation gives matte finish. It’s highly pigmented and gives sheer to medium to full coverage depending upon the quantity of product you use and how you blend it. Although it is well pigmented, still it won’t hide really dark imperfections or blemishes such as hyperpigmentation and adding up layers gives up a cakey look. Dry skin people would not like this product much. If you use it on dry and patchy skin, it would lead to flakes, so moisturizer and primer are recommended prior to foundation application.
Staying Power: It has a very good staying power, it’s a long-wear foundation. A well moisturized base and adding up some translucent powder will help it to last more on the skin.
Pros of Coloressence HD High Definition Foundation:
- Perfect for oily/combination skin.
- Pump dispenser which reduces wastage.
- Good packaging.
- Matte finish.
- Staying power is good.
- Blendable, smooth texture.
- SPF 20.
Cons of Coloressence HD High Definition Foundation:
- Dries up quickly.
- Not photo ready.
- One can’t afford to skip moisturizer beneath.
- Leaves a whitish cast.
- Limited shade selection (none for dusky or in-between complexions).
- Complete list of ingredients is missing.
Would I Repurchase Coloressence HD High Definition Foundation?
Oily/combination skin beauties would love this, only if they are able to find their perfect shade.
Till next time, Toodles, xoxo
