The packaging of ColourPop Crystal Liquid Highlighter is exactly like the Crystal Setting Spray. This highlighter comes in a small and sturdy transparent glass bottle. The highlighter comes housed in a cardboard box with a beautiful green and golden design in the front. The back of the box mentions the directions of use. The highlighter has a little pump that brings out a small drop which is enough to cover the entire face.
Texture:
The texture is so lightweight and non-sticky. It does not give any greasiness to the skin. Some of the liquid highlighters are runny and difficult to control during application but not this one. The consistency of this one is just perfect.
Staying Power:
Without any makeup setting spray, this one lasts for about 4-5 hours, which is good enough.
My Experience with ColourPop Crystal Liquid Highlighter Aventurine:
It has a pump which is great as you can control the pump and how much you dispense. The texture is nice and smooth – not runny at all. It is kind of creamy and blends effortlessly on the skin. The highlighter is not too shimmery and one has full control on building up the intensity of the highlighter.
The color is bight gold with no heavy glitters. It blends beautifully with the fingers instead of a brush. This product can be used on the high points of the face as a traditional liquid highlighter over foundation to achieve a gorgeous wet look. Or you can go for a subtle look, depending on how much you apply. The bottle will last quite long as you need the smallest amount because the product is so pigmented.
I tried using a few drops with my foundation to get an instant glow on the entire face. However, I was really disappointed with the results as there was zero glow. It can be used as an everyday highlighter for glowy cheekbones, without any chunky shimmers. If you want to intensify the glow, you can add some gold-based powder highlighter on the top of this highlighter. This technique will also make your glow last about 7 hours.

The bottle will last very long, so I wouldn’t be repurchasing this one. I do recommend it as it can be a good alternative to your high-end highlighters.
