Hi everyone,

You all know my obsession with ColourPop cosmetics. They have such awesome products and I just love their eyeshadows. Today, I will be reviewing the shade “So Quiche,” which is one of their best sellers. So, let’s see how this eyeshadow fared for me.

Price:
$5.00 USD for 0.07 oz.
Product Description:
A soft olive with a highly reflective gold and pink violet glittery duo chrome metallic finish…there are no words in the dictionary to describe this. Not even urbandictionary.com . Aka: this shade is hotter than hot – the F**king Queen of shadows. This long-wearing crème powder formula has an elastic-like texture that is totally party proof. Avoid the fallout from traditional powder shadows and say goodbye to raccoon eyes! This feather soft formula glides on and feels freakin’ amazing. Super Shock Shadows come in a ton of kick ass shades in multiple fabulous finishes.

How To Use:
For maximum coverage use the fingertip to tap shadow on the eyelid. A flat, fine tip synthetic brush is perfect for detailed application close to the lash line. Using a fluffy brush that has good movement, dip the tip of the brush into the shadow and apply with a “windshield wiper” movement throughout the crease of the eye. This will make your shadow appear soft and diffused like a total pro! When finished, close that sucker up tight! Don’t leave the jar opened for long periods of time, you may lose some of the magic that makes the Super Shock Shadow so amazing.

My Experience with ColourPop So Quiche Super Shock Shadow:

Packaging:  The packaging comes in a white round pot with a transparent screw lid. The lid has a holographic writing on the top – ColourPop. The bottom of the pot specifies the name of the product “So Quiche.” The eyeshadow comes in a white cardboard box with the name of the product and the ingredients list.

Texture and Application: The texture of this eyeshadow is super creamy and buttery. It is a mix between a powder and a cream product. It is creamy to touch, but when you apply it on your eyes, it gives a satiny finish. The product as a scale-like pattern on it. Due to its texture, it gets best applied with your fingers. Keep the jar tightly closed, so that the product doesn’t dry out. I didn’t have any fall out during application of the shadow.

Pigmentation and Coverage: The eyeshadow is super pigmented. One swipe with your finger is all it takes to get full coverage. Since the texture is creamy, use a synthetic fluffy brush to blend the product. If you want to pack on the colour, you can use a dense synthetic brush. To get more shine, spray the brush with something like MAC Fix Plus, but I personally feel that the fingers give best pigmentation and coverage.

Shade and Finish:  So Quiche is described as a soft olive green in a metallic finish and it is indeed a stunning light toned olive khaki green eyeshadow with a metallic sheen. If you look closely, there are specks of golden and violet glitter in the eyeshadow which give it a duochrome effect. The eyeshadow blends flawlessly and the colour payoff is insane. This shade will suit all Indian skin tones. The shadow looks amazing all over the lid.

Staying Power: The staying power is really good with this eyeshadow. It stays on for around 8 hours even without an eye primer. This eyeshadow doesn’t crease on me even after applying the eyeshadow on my oily lids for the whole day. Overall, I am very happy with the product.
