Recently, I had purchased hair care products from Dove’s Nourishing Secrets range. I have been using them one at a time to write a review and after almost 2 weeks of using this product, I am all ready to let you know about this one. Read on to know more about “Dove Nourishing Secrets Glowing Conditioner”.

Product Description:
Dove Glowing conditioner is inspired by the Japanese rituals of a hair treatment with a blend of rice water and lotus flower. An excellent mix of ingredients known for their nutrient properties. Nourishes your hair intensively, for silky hair with a brilliant shine.
How to use: Massage gently into damp hair after washing. Allow to work in for a while and then rinse well.
Tip: In order not to aggravate your hair, spread the Dove Glowing conditioner over the lengths and tips of your hair and avoid the hairline. Then rinse well.

My Experience with Dove Nourishing Secrets Glowing Conditioner:
The conditioner comes in a traditional white bottle with a golden flip cap. The bottle is an upside down type and sits perfectly on the shelf. The cap is tight enough and doesn’t cause any leakage. The design is pretty good and it has a big pink lotus flower that dominates the front. There is some product information given on the back. The product doesn’t come sealed. The product is a little bulky for short trips, but for longer ones, it could be a good travel companion.
The conditioner is rich and thick in texture. It is creamier than the other conditioners that I have used. It is white and has a fluffy consistency. The smell is amazing. It is very floral and smells very pleasant. The smell lingers around for a while, but it fades away pretty quickly too. I wish it stayed a little while longer, as it could easily be a substitute for hair sprays.
The application of the product is pretty simple. After shampooing, you need to slather the conditioner onto the lengths of your hair and leave on for 1-2 minutes and then rinse off with plain water. I usually use cold water for added benefits. The product contains Lotus and Rice water, which is inspired by the rituals of Japanese. I have been using rice water for a very long time on my hair and have seen good results and when I use this conditioner, I see almost the same results. The conditioner makes the hair extremely soft and smooth. When I dry my hair, there are hardly any tangles present and I can easily slide my fingers down the hair. Most of the times to retain the free curls I have, I just set it with my hair and it is amazing! I would give a 5 star only for this!
The conditioner adds a brilliant shine to the hair. My hair has never been so radiant. It imparts a shine that lasts for 2 days, but after which it fades away completely. The product also conditions the hair, but the nourishment factor is a bit disappointing for me. I have dry ends and this one doesn’t do much justice to them. I still need a serum to be followed up to moisturize them. The product doesn’t make the scalp oilier, if not used near the hair line whereas if used near the hair line or the scalp, it does make the hair look greasier. But since I use only on the hair ends, I have been staying away from this problem. Overall, it is a good product if your main issues are dull hair. If you are looking for nourishment factors, this might not be a good choice.
