Hey ladies!
Today I am reviewing a hand cream from Dove’s Purely Pampering range. I have started using hand creams since my baby was born as in order to maintain hygiene, I had to wash my hands several times a day and that would leave my hands dry. Let’s find more about it!
Product Description:
Dove Purely Pampering Hand Cream wraps your hands in a rich blend of nourishing cream with shea butter.
Price:
QAR 14 for 75 ml
Shelf Life:
12 Months
My Experience with Dove Purely Pampering Hand Cream:
It comes in a white squeeze tube with a flip cover over it. It is easy to use such packaging as every time one need to squeeze the tube to get the desired amount of product. It is quite hygienic as compared to tub type as one need not dip fingers to take the product out. The overall packaging is travel friendly as I always keep hand creams in my purse to get rid of dryness at any point of time.
It has the white gel-cream texture which is very opaque and light. It is like semi liquid in nature and has a tacky feeling after application, although the tackiness is there for few seconds only; may be because it gets absorbed and gets settled into the skin after that.
I use the product several times a day and its hydration last for maximum for 1 hour post thorough application. The formula is non greasy, but tacky. It has a yummy vanilla fragrance which is very mild and sweet, the gel cream type consistency glides on skin, gets quickly absorbed by skin and leaves it soft and supple.
Pros of Dove Purely Pampering Hand Cream:
• Leaves hands soft and supple
• Travel friendly packaging
• Hydrates hands well
• Quickly absorbed by skin
• Very light and smooth consistency
• Very pleasant vanilla scent
• Perfect for everyday use
• Dermatologically tested
Cons of Dove Purely Pampering Hand Cream:
• Hydration lasts maximum an hour
• Feels tacky
IMBB Rating:
3.5/5

I also like creams that can keep my hands moisturized for long. Under air conditioned environment, my skin tends to get very dry and dry hands feel uncomfortable to me. So, this one does not really seem to be worth it. :/
We all expect the hand creams to be super moisturising and if not then its not work buying it 🙂
What’s the use when your hand cream couldn’t moisturize for at least 6 hours of night? This looks cute but not worth it.
True but i think it will suit oily skin type
I need a hand lotion which leaves my skin hydrated for long since I have a dry skin type!
