My experience with Dove Refresh+Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo:

I have a really oily scalp with dry hair (due to coloring)! I have to wash my hair every alternate day in order to keep it fresh. Washing my hair so frequently was leading to increased hair fall. Moreover, many a times, I do not find the time to wash my hair every alternate day. So I was on the lookout for a dry shampoo, which I could use once or twice a week at least to reduce the number of washes needed.

I was really happy to find this dry shampoo from Dove as I like the regular Dove shampoos a lot. And this one too is really good. I spray this on the roots and spread it across the scalp using my fingers and brush my hair. This absorbs all the greasiness and makes my hair look clean and fresh! It also adds volume to my hair and makes it bouncy.

This dry shampoo comes in a spray can. It is quite travel friendly, as the cap closes tightly. This spray can had some issues when Dove first launched this product. Many people found that the nozzle of this can got stuck after a few uses and the product did not come out of the can anymore. Thankfully, Dove has fixed the problem since and the cans available currently do not have this issue.

Like all other Dove shampoos, this one too smells really good! The fragrance envelops you for the first 10 minutes or so after spraying this, which might feel overwhelming for some, but after that, the intensity of the fragrance reduces and you can smell it only if you actually smell the hair. This smell lasts on the hair throughout the day.

This shampoo comes out transparent and hence does not leave any whitish residue or flakes on the hair or scalp. My hair also does not feel heavy or greasy due to this. This shampoo also does not irritate my scalp. The effect of this dry shampoo lasts throughout the day and my hair feels and looks fresh throughout.

Pros of Dove Refresh+Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo:

 Transparent spray which does not leave any whitish residue
 Keeps hair looking volumized and fresh throughout the day
 Smells good
 Easy to use even when you are in a hurry
 Does not irritate the scalp or cause hair fall
 Travel friendly packaging

Cons of Dove Refresh+Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo:

 Not available in India currently

IMBB Rating:

Yes, I would definitely recommend this dry shampoo. Hope Dove launches this in India soon!

    1. Yes, Sonia! Even I was surprised as I had not seen any such product from Dove before! It is good! 🙂

  2. The few dry shampoos I’ve tried all have an overwhelming scent, initially. I wonder why that seems a common thing among dry shampoos? Good to know this one smells good. 🙂
