L’Oreal Professionnel Series Expert Liss Ultime Masque
I have already introduced you to the Liss Ultime range from L’oreal Professionnel. I had earlier done a review on the shampoo from this range that I had bought and used along with the shampoo. As I had mentioned earlier, I hated the shampoo, but I have a different opinion on this masque, so here it goes.
About L’Oreal Professionnel Series Expert Liss Ultime Masque:
For difficult to manage, frizzy hair. This hair treatment has been designed to detangle, deeply moisturise and add volume and control.
What it Claims:
Intensely nourish, repair and smooth your frizzy, unmanageable hair with L’Oreal Professionnel Serie Expert Liss Ultime Masque. This pampering treat works in minutes leaving you with super smooth, luscious locks. L’Oreal Professionnel Serie Expert Liss Ultime Masque uses its key technology, Polymer AR, to wrap the hair fibre with a special anti-humidity shield, keeping it smooth and glossy while stopping frizz in its tracks.
Directions For Use:
• Apply and massage into shampooed and towel-dried hair.
• Ensure it is distributed evenly.
• Leave for 2-3 minutes.
• Rinse thoroughly.
It comes in a light purple-coloured tub of 200 ml. I do not like the packaging as it is unhygienic to put the hand into the tub every time to take the product. I would rather prefer a tube packaging, but these masques are quite thick in their consistencies and that is why, they cannot be accommodated in a tube I guess.
My Take on L’Oreal Professionnel Series Expert Liss Ultime Masque:
This is the masque that has to be used with the Liss Ultime Shampoo. It smooths frizzy hair while nourishing and leaves the hair straight and sleek and under control. I have tried using this with another branded shampoo and it gives amazing results. I have also found that if I do not use this after I shampoo my hair, it feels so dry. So, this has definitely helped in making my hair soft and smooth to an extent. The effect lasts until I shampoo my hair next. It is advisable to wash the hair every three days, but I feel that the quantity is very less for the price.
I went to a parlor for a hair wash and conditioning some time back and the hairstylist used this on my hair, but a very little amount, so there was not much effect on my hair. When I use this at home, I take an adequate amount to cover my hair as I have thick hair, so I end up finishing this tub in just one month. So, Rs. 580 for one month is too much. I would advice people who have thick hair to go for the absolute repair masque than this one as you need to take only a little product of that to get enough smoothness.
Pros of L’Oreal Professionnel Series Expert Liss Ultime Masque:
- Calms down frizzy hair to some extent.
Cons of L’Oreal Professionnel Series Expert Liss Ultime Masque:
- Available only through reputed salons.
- Has not done anything remarkably for my dry hair.
I would say this is a decent conditioning masque but not the best one. I feel it has been overhyped. I find the absolute range of products to be better than the Liss Ultime ones. The hairstylists should use these first and then advice the clients rather than blindly asking them to use the Liss Ultime range for anybody who goes for rebonding.

Hi Preetha, nice review!! I have curly hair that gets frizzy easily so I like masques a lot.
Have u used the Shwarzkopf repair rescue masque? How would u compare this to it if so?
I will be reviewin the Shwarzkopf repair rescue masque soon Ramya..I feel it is better than this one..However I like the absolute repair masque much better
:thanks: Waiting for ur review on that! 🙂
Will do for sure Ramya.. :haanji:
i like it too preetha. it does an amazing job for my thin hair. O:) O:) O:)
Nice review Ramya, :snicker: :snicker:

Then u shud def skip this Rati..not very good..okayish masque..I don like this entire liss ultime range :spank: :spank:
Hm…decent enough,I suppose. :methinks: But,my thirsty and super frizzy hair won’t really benefit from this. :nono:
I think I’ll skip it. It doesn’t seem like I’ll miss out on much. :struggle:
Nice review,Preetha! :thanks:
nice review preetha  .. my hair r all tidy n well behaved :haanji: :haanji: .. only prob is hair fall.. :((
olive oil helps nids..
my hair is well behaved when i dont highlight my hair and use a universal color all over the hair. The highlights as they start to fade off make my hair look dry and very ‘strawy’. The Loreal Total repair 5 and the loreal anti frizz serum are working quite well for me.
ohh great Aruna..I’ve heard the colour protect range from Schwarzkopf is good too..wil check it out n let ya know..I actually have the habit of tryin many shampoos n masques..thou they have’nt ruined my hair..I hav healthy hair n thats y I rebond it evry year with full confidence
Have you tried the L’oreal Hair Spa mask ? I was thinking of getting that..I was confused between L’oreal and Matrix Biolage one..
I hv been usin Liss Ultime range since last 10months or so for my Sooooooper duper frizzy n rough hair and em quite satisfied bt jus satisfied. Hv noticed a lot of difference as it calms down my hair. My routine iz usin shampoo, dis masque den less ultime serum.
Bt em nt rlly happy n wnt 2 change to sm bttr option. Can u suggest me sm bttr option too? Dat vl b rlly helpful…
i have been using dis series shampoo religiously for like 4years….since the time i started straightening my hair every 1.5 year……
..finally my hair has stopped responding to it…(4 years is quite a long time i guess to use same shampoo) :methinks:
..my hairstylist has suggest me to use Schwarzkopf now…..
I bought this along with the shampoo yesterday. I hope both of them work for me as they are little expensive. I was leaning towards moroccan oil shampoo and oil range. But got convinced by staff at hair salon to try this loreal range. Wish I could have read some reviews before buying. 🙁
Hello, Kindly confirm if this product is absolute from market because yesterday I got liss unlimited.. I am very much satisfied with the results of liss ulltime masque… I was using it since 2 years.
