Last month, I had picked up Hemp Oil products from Dr Organic and I have already reviewed Dr Organic Hair Rescue and Restore Organic Hemp Oil Rescue Shampoo. Today’s review is all about Dr Organic Hemp Oil Restoring Hair and Scalp Treatment. Read on to know more.

An energising treatment mousse based on organic Hemp Oil combined with a unique blend of bioactive, natural and organic ingredients. Organic Hemp Oil is described as ‘nature’s most perfectly balanced oil’. The unique properties of this amazing oil are combined with organic plant extracts, Panthenol (Provitamin B5) and a synergistic combination of plant actives that can stimulate hair growth and help to prevent hair loss with visible effects. With continued use this leave-in treatment mousse can help to reduce hair loss and support healthy hair growth. It assists in activating and protecting follicle stem cells in order to produce stronger hair, with increased density and volume. The result is thicker hair that looks and feels beautifully healthy and energised.
Directions – Shake well before use. Depending on hair length and volume, apply 2-5 pumps and gently massage into scalp before working it through the hair. Brush or comb hair from roots to tips, dry and style as desired.

My Experience with Dr Organic Hemp Oil Restoring Hair and Scalp Treatment:
Dr Organic Hemp Oil Restoring Hair and Scalp Treatment comes in a bright silver cardboard box. The product comes sealed. There is a lot of information given on the back of the box. The directions to use are also mentioned on the bottle. The white pump bottle has a silver wrap with all the information. The transparent cap closes with a click but it is a bit flimsy and might open in a bag. The white pump dispenses the mousse. Two pumps of mousse are more than enough for my shoulder-length hair. The pump does not have any locking mechanism, but I wish that it had a locking mechanism so that I could lock it and could be sure that there would be no leakage.
The mousse is like white foam. It smells like an ayurvedic product and is a bit intimidating. The fragrance is a bit strong and the smell stays for around 1-2 hours. This can be a little odd when you are heading out.
The mousse has to be massaged into the scalp and has to be worked onto the hair length. The mousse is lightweight and gets absorbed very soon. But, it makes the hair a bit sticky and I feel like I have used gel on my hair. However, it does dry off soon and the hair texture is restored.
I have been using this scalp treatment for almost 6 weeks now, along with the shampoo. I use the mousse 2 times in a week and massage for around 3 minutes before combing my hair. I have noticed huge differences in my hair since the time I started to use it. My hair is bouncier and has volume. The hair lifts a bit which creates a fuller volume. I have also noticed the growth of tiny hairs in the spaces where I had fewer or no hair, especially near the hairline and side of the forehead.
The mousse also eliminates dandruff or any skin issues. My hair is stronger and also looks very healthier with a shine. My hair has strengthened eventually with fewer/no hair in the drain or in the comb. The mousse helps stimulate hair growth but due to the growth of tiny hairs, it can cause a lot of frizz and you need to use an anti-frizz serum. Using a lot of this product can make hair sticky and once dried, can look very weird. The mousse is rich in Omega 3, 6, 9 and essential fatty acids, and thus, helps in stimulating hair follicles for the growth of hair. I am very happy with this product and have almost emptied half a bottle. The quantity of the product can last for 3 months and I am sure that I would be repurchasing it as it has shown effective results.
