My Experience with Dr Organic Rose Otto Facial Serum:

The Facial serum comes in a cardboard like package. You can find all the information needed on this box. Once you open the box, the facial serum comes in a transparent glass jar with a white screw lid which holds the pipette. Initially, this used to come as a pump but with the new ones, this is the package. The pipette is different; On the top of the cap you can see a button, which you can press to pull out the liquid. There is some basic information on the bottle. Since it is a glass jar, it is a bit heavy, but the quality of glass used is thick and superior. There is no leakage and the product is travel-friendly.

The facial serum is basically a combination of oils. It is light yellow in color and has an oily texture and consistency. The smell of the serum is amazing. It smells very rich with roses. The scent is stronger than the Body Shop British Rose range and I absolutely love it. The scent stays on for a long period of time. The usage is normal, but I am not sure why it has to be used over a moisturizer at night. The smell is because of the presence of Rose oil.

When applied, it is greasy since it is an oil and it takes a while to get absorbed, but once absorbed, it doesn’t leave any greasy residue behind. I find the product a bit heavy for the morning, as I would be topping up with foundation and powder. Since I have a combination skin, my T-zone and chin turn oilier faster. However, I have a bit of dryness near the corners of my mouth and nose and I use this oil to dab it on these places.

I find the serum very effective for my night routine. The product makes your skin very soft and smooth. It adds an instant suppleness to the skin. Every morning I wake up to a fresh, radiant face which is great! The skin is thoroughly nourished and moisturized. The product is claimed to be anti-aging too and I have noticed light changes within a week of usage. My fine lines are getting lighter and also some pigmentation that I had due to a burn from waxing is also reducing. I think over the days, it will surely refine the look. The product adds brightness to the skin and also helps revive the skin cells. The product contains a lot of oils and together they provide utmost moisturization needed for the face. I have stopped using a night moisturizer, as I feel this serum provides me the care I need for my face. The product doesn’t clog pores or cause breakouts.

The oil is also free from parabens, silicones, SLS, colorants and any harsh chemicals which is great! I love the product and going forward, I would always have this one in my face care routine. I have no negatives to write on this and once again, Dr. Organic has won my heart!
