My Experience with Equate Beauty Pink Grapefruit Oil-free Cleansing Towelettes:
The packaging looks very cute as it comes in a lovely pink color. It is super travel-friendly, not being bulky and there is a pull open lid, which ensures to keep it hygienic.
I just got curious when I saw the cute pink colored sachet of cleansing wipes as the packaging said it’s oil-free and is suitable for acne-prone skin. It made my decision easier and I brought this. Usually, I wash my face using my face wash. After a long day, when I get home late at night, I feel like just going to sleep and don’t feel like washing my face at all. These cleansing wipes come handy in such times.
It’s really simple to use. I will just wipe my face with the towel and my face will get clean in two minutes. I just splash my face with water and pat dry which is not necessary, but I always do so.
It does remove all my makeup. I am not into heavy makeup. I have tried removing my Lakme Absolute Foundation and found that it worked fine. I use almond oil for removing my eye makeup, as I have sensitive eyes. I like Maybelline vivid and smooth eyeliner which is absolutely waterproof. For testing purpose, I tried to remove the swatches of the eyeliner from my hand and it did remove the eyeliner, but I had to swipe it for multiple times. Although I did not use much pressure, I guess it will be bothersome to remove eye makeup.
Anyway, I guess these towels are not meant to remove makeup. It has just mentioned that it can be used to cleanse your face, remove oil and impurities. I have noticed some other brand’s wipes getting dry after some time, but this has been with me for few months and the towels are still moist. Also, the size of the towel is good, it will almost cover both my palms. I need only one towel for my whole face and neck. If you are wearing a heavy makeup on your face, then you might need two or more. It has not broken me out and has definitely made my life easy and the packaging is very cute to look at 🙂
