I bought two face masks recently from the brand “The Face Shop.” This post is on the review of The Face Shop Baby Face Thermo Firming Mask. This mask gives a rather unique sensation to the skin. Face masks are essential for skin care. I feel it is important to wear wash-off or sleep or sheet masks at least 2-3 times a week for a more concentrated and effective absorption of nutrients by skin. Masks make skin softer, tighter and also help in reducing appearance of pores. The mask in this review is very unique and is certainly worth a try.

My Experience with The Face Shop Baby Face Thermo Firming Mask:
This face mask comes in a tube packaging with a flip open cap. The tube has a grey color sticker with writings in English and Korean. The product can be dispensed by squeezing the tube. The consistency of the product is that of an opaque, thick serum, but less dense than aloe vera gel. It is easy to apply and spread on face.
After thoroughly cleansing my face, I apply a thin layer of the mask on my face and spread it evenly on my face and massage it in circular motion. I let the mask sit for 15 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water. As soon as this mask gets applied, it imparts a warm sensation to the face. It is not a tingling warmth that we usually experience because of strong acids or uncomfortable heat. Rather, it is a very comfortable warmth (feels quite cozy). The product claims that it contains marine collagen and the heating feature makes skin firm.
I tried to find the full ingredient list of this mask but none of the sites have disclosed this information in English. The Korean sites provide detailed information about the product and its ingredients, but unfortunately only in Korean. Hence, all I know is that it contains collagen which is good for restoring skin elasticity. It does not dry out even after 15 minutes and retains its gel-like consistency.
It is easy to wash off and immediately makes skin smooth and soft. I have not observed any extraordinary change in the elasticity of skin but did notice slight reduction in facial pores. They didn’t vanish completely, but my skin did appear smoother. It is not a miraculous product but is definitely realistic.

- This mask comes in a tube-type packaging and dispenses product upon squeezing. A small amount of product is enough to cover the entire face.
- This is easy to spread and easy to massage to evenly distribute the mask into a thin layer.
- This face mask does not dry out even when allowed to sit on face for more than 15 minutes.
- Contains marine collagen which is known for its skin tightening properties.
- No fragrance.
- Does not dry out my skin, preps it for further layering of skin care products.
- Makes my skin smoother and softer and makes appearance of pores less obvious.
- Gives unique warmth to skin, it feels soothing.
Cons of The Face Shop Baby Face Thermo Firming Mask:
- Could not find the entire ingredient list disclosed in English. Apart from marine collagen, I am not sure what else it contains.
Would I Repurchase The Face Shop Baby Face Thermo Firming Mask?
It is a good face mask and does an efficient job at making skin smooth and tightens pores. It comes in a decent quantity for the price paid. I do recommend it to readers.
