My Experience with Garnier Intensive 7 Days Cocoa Butter Moisturiser:

The packaging looks stylish and different from the regular Garnier packaging. It has a flap lid which is pretty sturdy and opens and closes without a lot of effort. The lid is quite secure too. Its overall slim packaging makes it possible to fit into suitcases while travelling. The body cream is slightly thick in consistency. It spreads well on the skin too. But it takes some time to get absorbed. The consistency and texture feel like satin. But I hate to use products that take time to get absorbed as I need to wait to get dressed, especially during the mornings.

The brand claims that if this product is used for 4 weeks regularly, then we can go without using any for the next 7 days, which I do not really agree to. It might be 2 days but not more than that. At least for me, that was the case. I would not recommend it for dry skin. I would say it’s suitable only during spring, summer or autumn, but not winter. As you see from the packaging, the main ingredient is cocoa butter. Som I was expecting a great chocolate fragrance when opened. Just by opening the flap lid you cannot really smell the lotion.

One has to use it on the skin. I was hoping that the cream would smell of cocoa and that was the main reason I purchased it. But, it let me down here too. The scent is not so great. It smells weird. I feel it has a very artificial fragrance which is like a repellant to me. I would say it will work if you have oily skin or not so dry skin. Since the product isn’t very rich, it leads to more usage (twice a day or so) and hence the product gets used up pretty fast.

Cons of Garnier Intensive 7 Days Cocoa Butter Moisturiser:
