The oil comes in a plastic spray bottle. The bottle is transparent and hence, you can see the amount of oil left inside the bottle. The spray nozzle is golden in color and has a transparent cap which is tight and closes with a click. Olive oil does wonders to your skin and I have tried the lotion from the same Mythic Olive range so, I had some expectations with this oil.

The oil is transparent in color and is very thin, lightweight but nothing similar to the original olive oil! The fragrance of the body oil is amazing! I was blown away when I sprayed it onto my hands. It smells like an expensive Eau De Parfum and stays for around 3 hours after which it leaves a hint of beautiful scent that keeps lingering around. The spray isn’t very strong and thus, it is easy to spray all over the body and then massage it. A few sprays are more than enough to cover the entire body.

As the texture is very light, you won’t feel the oil and there are chances that you might end up spraying more than what is required. The oil makes the skin extremely smooth and soft in a minute right after the application. The oil doesn’t leave any greasy residue and gets absorbed completely but, as it is an oil, it leaves a shiny layer behind. However, the shine can be added to your benefit if you are planning to go short as it makes your skin look polished and shiny!

The oil moisturises the skin for more than 8 hours and I switched using the product from night to morning. I noticed less difference in the morning as I am completely covered up due to the cold, but when I apply it at the night and wake up the next morning, my skin feels very smooth, hydrated and intensively nourished. I have at times skipped applying a lotion during the lazy late shower weekends but haven’t noticed even a slight dryness.

Even though the product claims that it contains virgin olive oil, it also contains other chemicals which make it a light textured oil. The product is free from parabens too. The oil is a perfect alternative to those heavy lotions and like claimed, it makes your skin soft, smooth and adds a subtle glow! It is a perfect choice for women with dry skin but, I guess it will suit a lot of skin types.
