But once you start writing, it gets fairly addictive and when it comes to IMBB, two-three days without it and I feel like ARGH! So I went to my stash, cursed Nykaa for taking up too much time to deliver my haircare refills and then came across to one of my dailies, Overnight Eye Complex from H2O+ Night Oasis range and that’s what I’ll be reviewing for you today.

My Experience with H2O+ Night Oasis Overnight Eye Complex:

First question, what could a seventeen year old possibly know about eye creams and all sorts of anti-ageing stuff? Well, this seventeen year old, unfortunately does, a little. A few years back I was down with dengue for nine months which took a complete toll on my skincare regime. I was left which a dehydrated and puffy set of eyes with a more than distinguishable dark circle from all the pain and stress which made me look like a god damned panda. I was even more younger at that time and everyone was very reluctant to let me use something a thirty year old does. Eventually, I started with Clinique’s even better range and Clarins, it was only early this year when I picked this one up.

My love for marine skincare is, however, not newfound. H2O+, Thalgo etc seem to agree with my skin fiercely and of late, they totally dominate my regime. My hunt for eye cream nirvana led me into temptation and already having used the day oasis range from H2O+, my expectations were very high.

When I started using this overnight eye complex, I was still suffering from dry patches all around my eyes stretching right to the corners of my temple and the dark circles, a lot less than before but I still needed a shade 03 under-eye concealer. H2O+ night oasis overnight eye complex comes in uber pretty, opaque, square, little jar and it totally totally reminded me of swimming pool in a tub. The gel looks an ominous sky blue in the tub but on your skin, it’s a colorless hue with a little touch of blue. The gel cream texture is excellent and blends about your skin effortlessly. It leaves my under-eye area subtle and soft instantly and makes it soooo cool. As if you just poured a glass of water under your eyes. 😀

I saw the difference in the texture of my under-eye area right after six-seven days of using it daily at night. It smoothened the skin up noticeably and I could see the desert storm going all around my eyes was calming down, feeling well tendered and hydrated.

It took about a month when then dryness was 60% gone. I could see my concealer gliding on better and not feeling flaky at all.

Pros of H2O+ Night Oasis Overnight Eye Complex

• Pretty packaging.
• 1700 bucks is quite a reasonable price tag for an eye treatment, we all know how crazy it gets when it comes to these products. 😛 As far as I know, only L’oreal Paris Revitalift range is cheaper in the Indian market.
• Excellent excellent hydration boost. Demon of dry patches!
• Soothing & refreshing, cool gel-cream texture.
• It can well be used during daytime too. I apply it right after I come out of shower & it doesn’t hurt, at all.
• Renews messed up skin, it feels as good as nothing happened, ever. 😀
• I went a bit adventurous & applied it all around my lips when I found out it’s hydration aura & BOOM! It worked there as well. 😀
• Lasts long. I’m onto my second month & it’s likely to serve another two weeks surely!

Cons of H2O+ Night Oasis Overnight Eye Complex

• Packaging might be pretty but surely unhygienic. All the plant extracts, vitamins, antioxidants break down in the presence of air, which means most of your beneficial ingredients get unstable once the jar is opened. Also, application with fingertips only mean you are adding bacteria, with every use, however clean your hands may be.
• It does not multitask, a bit. That goes for decreasing puffiness or lines or dark patches, it doesn’t do anything noticeable apart from the amazing hydration. I’d say Clinique Even better Eyes was far more top notch in this case.

Would you recommend H2O+ Night Oasis Overnight Eye Complex?

If you suffer from dry under-eyes with minimum lines and patches, hell yes! This will be pretty much your Holy Grail beauty find, no doubt. If you suffer from exhaustive dark circles and lines, no. This will not help much of your case. Overall, I think this is highly recommended for anyone starting anti-ageing skincare or anyone underage, like me, yet suffering from under eye complexities.

Would you repurchase H2O+ Night Oasis Overnight Eye Complex?

Might well do! My major issue is lack of hydration & it totally covers it. Although I’m looking forward to Elizabeth Arden Intervene range after using this one up.
