Sleeping packs have started to become a rage. And I, being bitten by the new trend, couldn’t refrain from purchasing one. I wanted a sleeping pack and also wanted it to remove my dark spots from a recent breakout. Since this product mentioned ‘whitening pore’, I didn’t look further. I have used many skin care products from Innisfree – right from their ever famous Green Tea Seed Serum and Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask to their It’s Real Squeeze Mask and Capsule Recipe Pack. I have never been disappointed by any of them. So, how was this one? Read on.

How to Use:

My Experience with Innisfree Whitening Pore Sleeping Pack:
I apply the sleeping pack after toning and moisturising my skin. I don’t apply a night cream before this mask. A small amount of the product is enough for the face and neck. The sleeping pack is translucent off-white in colour with a gel-like consistency.
It has a minty-citrus smell, which is not overpowering. Instead, it feels good and refreshing. Also, the mask is not sticky, which was a plus for me, since I don’t like sticky products on my skin while sleeping.
I apply the product to my face and neck and then gently massage it. Within seconds the mask gets fully absorbed. But you could feel a thin layer of product still remaining on top of the skin. My face feels soft and cool as soon as I apply the mask. It’s really good for scorching summer nights.
The next morning, I wash my face with lukewarm water. After washing the face, my skin looks soft and plump. But, there has been no other remarkable changes pertaining to the product. I have been using this mask continuously for two weeks and been following the same routine.
I use a small amount of product, daily after moisturising my skin. My skin has become softer and my face looks better and brighter. But the dark spots are still visible and so are the pores. The product claims to be for pores and dark spots. But for me, it could not do what it was actually supposed to. It has improved my skin texture and skin tone, though.
This improvement in my skin tone could be due to the moisturising effect that the pack gives. Overall, it’s a good-but-could-be-better product. I might have achieved the desired results had I used the entire range.
