Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Wind Review

I like shopping for beauty at Nordstrom because the stores are huge and have all the ultra-luxury brands under one roof and the most important factor is the awesome sales representatives. I love shopping at the store as well as their website and I can undeniably say they have great return policy among most of its peers.

Product Description:

Irresistibly sheer shades loaded with Vitamin E, Shea Butter, and Jojoba Seed Oil to moisturize, soothe, nourish, rejuvenate and protect, keeping lips smooth and hydrated. Available in a signature vial that connects to any Jouer custom palette.

How To Use Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Wind:

Adds a hint of color for the perfect natural-looking lip. Use all on its own or top it over your favorite lipstick.

Price and Quantity:

$22 for 0.17 fl oz. / 5 mL from Nordstrom.

The lip gloss comes in a cardboard box in which the square/rectangular transparent vial is with a wand applicator and hinges on its sides for attaching with different pallet from the same brand.

My Experience With Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Wind:

I recently went at my local Nordstrom store for getting a few glosses as I don’t have any and during that trip I picked up the Cargo lip gloss and this one from Jouer. The SA at the store are very helpful and soft spoken and has a lot of patience in making the customer comfortable.

I swatched several shades of the gloss and a few more products and finally felt that this would be the true neutral shade for application over matte and dry lipsticks. There was a shade named Mirage but it was out of stock then so I chose this.

The lip-gloss wand is of good quality and makes the application process much easier without any mess. The lip-gloss is very shiny and moisturizing for my lips but non-sticky at the same time. The gloss stayed on my lips for more than 5 hours and finally started to fade away when I had a few snacks and drinks, it did transfer on my cups and cutlery but not in a major way. I am glad to see a couple of natural ingredients like jojoba seed oil and shea butter in these glosses.

If I say honestly they feel more like lip moisturizer than gloss when they are applied and so lightweight that I don’t even feel I am wearing a gloss at all. The only con that I would say here is the sheer nature of the product and those in love with opacity will not like this. The other major point is that the gloss has no fragrance added… I am petrified of scented lip products.

Pros of Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Wind:

1. Fragrance free.
2. Non sticky.
3. Very moisturizing.
4. Has Vitamin E, jojoba oil and shea butter.
5. Cruelty free.

Cons of Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Wind:

1. Sheer

IMBB Rating:: 4/5

Do I Recommend Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss In Wind?

I like the gloss a lot as I can wear it all the time. I want such shade as bringing the kid from school without worrying about looking out of place :D. This can be a great option for those who like a good hydrating gloss but not too much of color.

Thanks so much for reading and your lovely comments.
