My Experience with Jurlique Moisture Replenishing Day Cream
I am almost finished suing this tube. It’s high time I reviewed this. First let me tell you that Jurlique is one of my most awesome finds for this year. This skincare has worked exceptionally well for me and being an all natural brand, it has that added feel-good factor to it. The packagings were simple but products have been effective.
Jurlique Moisture Replenishing Day Cream comes packed in this simple white tube with black cap. This cream is meant for dry to very dry skin. I have normal to dry skin and it has worked really well in keeping my skin hydrated and comfortable. I have used it even on days when my skin has been a bit flaky esp around the cheeks and it has helped in repairing the dryness of my skin. I mostly face a havoc of skin changes especially when I am back from my travels. And this cream has been a saviour. Within a few days of usage, it brings the suppleness of my skin back. This cream includes avocado oil, shea butter, beeswax and safflower oil. If you have dry skin, these ingredients are music to ears. The company claims that you can use it both during day and night but I mostly have used it during the day. If you have combination skin or specific dry areas to target you may use it at night just on those areas and you’d wake up with soft skin.
It is a white coloured cream with a semi thick texture. In all honestly, I would have loved if it were a thinner cream. If you apply this cream on a damp face, it sits right on top of the skin and takes ages to soak in. It is a heavy cream so you it leaves the skin a bit shiny /dewy. I don’t mind that because I am okay with using something effective on my skin even if it feels a bit uncomfortable. Especially when I use it before the foundation, I have never faced any dryness or stretchiness. The fragrance is a bit boroline(y). But that settles down after a while. This cream is also free of parabens.
It may not be the most ideal cream in terms of feel and texture but it is one hell of an effective one. It has never let me down. Kept my skin soft and has even repaired it when on the worst skin days. Would love to repurchase it esp for winter season. And would definitley recommend it to any one looking for an effective cream for dry skin. 🙂
