Packaging:

The EDT and the body lotion come in a sturdy, pink-colored gift pack bearing Kate Moss’s picture and a note that says: With love from Kate. The middle part of the pack is transparent through which both the products can be seen clearly.

Talking about the EDT, it comes in a sturdy, glass bottle with a black translucent cap. The spray nozzle is also black in color.  I like the shape of the bottle.

The EDT is light pink in color.

Scent Notes:
Orange blossom absolute, forget-me-not, pink pepper, lily of the valley, heliotrope, magnolia, peony, rose, patchouli, sandalwood, musk, vetiver and ambrette.

Fragrance Category:
Medium to strong.

Staying Power:
2-3 hours.

My Experience with Kate Moss Eau De Toilette:

My uncle had got this for my aunt as a token of his trip to the UK.  She didn’t like it, so she gave it to me. She didn’t like it mainly because she likes simple, subtle scents, but this one is a bit strong, floral and unusual kind of scent.  It is a nice, refreshing perfume, very different from all the rose fragrant perfumes I have used or come across till date. No doubt, it does have a floral scent, which is not overpowering, I guess that’s because the other ingredients like musk, sandalwood and pink pepper are equally strong.

The smell is slightly on the stronger side which makes it apt for evening wear.  I have been using this pretty frequently off late. It has this distinct smell which kind of catches your attention. When I was out with friends, they kept asking which perfume I had applied. When I was out with extended family, the elders wrinkled their noses and the youngsters asked the same question. I was quite happy with all the attention the perfume (and of course, I) was getting, but to my utter shock and disappointment, there was not even a hint of the perfume 3 hours after I had applied it.  It had simply vanished, I should say!

It was like no one could even tell that I had actually applied this perfume sometime back. Now, this is what I don’t like about this. The bottle is not very travel friendly, neither is it pocket-size and that’s okay, I can carry it around with me and re-apply it after 2-3 hours.  So, after that experience, I’ve learnt my lesson.  Now, I apply this only when I need to go out for a couple of hours. I don’t use this on any occasion which lasts for more than 3 hours, like weddings or ceremonies.

Anyway, let me sum up the pros and cons of the product for you:

Pros of Kate Moss Eau De Toilette:

• The price of the gift pack is quite affordable.
• The shape of the bottle is pretty.
• The spray nozzle works well and it is easy to use.
• The scent is different and nice, suitable for evening wear.
• It has a distinct, catchy, edgy smell.

Cons of Kate Moss Eau De Toilette:

• The staying power could have been much better.
• The packaging is not travel friendly.
• The scent is slightly strong, so those who like subtle fragrances might be disappointed.
• Nonavailability in India might be an issue.

Will I Buy Kate Moss Eau De Toilette Again?

No, I won’t, although the scent is hatke and nice, the staying power is a big letdown.

Will I Recommend Kate Moss Eau De Toilette?

No, I won’t, there are much better options which are easily available in India.
