Hope all of you out there are doing well 🙂 I am really sorry for being MIA for so long and honestly I missed you all a lot. First, I had my exams and then the tedious law internship kept me so tied up that I was hardly left with time to write reviews. Nevertheless, I am finally back in action and I promise to stick around for good. For today’s review, I have the Khadi Rose, Apricot and Walnut Facial Scrub, which has become a recent skin care favourite of mine and I am going to talk to you in detail about this amazing scrub. So, let’s hop on to the review.
Khadi Walnut and Apricot Face Scrub is a boon for dull, tired and lifeless skin. This exclusive blend provides perfect exfoliation to remove dried, dead cells and uncover fresh, young and radiant skin underneath.
Directions For Use:
Apply in a circular motion on the face and neck. Wipe off with a moist cotton pad. Rinse with water and pat dry.
200 INR for 50 gm.
My Experience with Khadi Rose, Apricot and Walnut Herbal Exfoliating Facial Scrub:
The scrub comes in the typically modest Khadi packaging which consists of a little see-through tub with a black lid. The tub comes sealed in an aluminium foil. Overall, I pretty much like the modest, minimalistic packaging – the only glitch being the wide-open mouth which calls for dipping the fingers and thus increasing the chances of contamination with bacteria.
Coming to the scrub, I would start off by saying that it has a wonderful and refreshing rose fragrance which I absolutely adore. The scrub has a cream-like consistency and has tiny little brown granules of apricot and walnut which could end up being a tad harsh if too much pressure is applied or if used too often.
I typically use it 2–3 times a week and I love the results that I get. Being a law intern, I need to spend my days running around in the old, dusty court campuses, which leaves my skin looking pretty tired and dull. So when I use this scrub, I see all the dirt and grime is nicely taken care of and I am left behind with a fresh and glowing skin tone.
Another thing that I absolutely love about this scrub is that it’s made of all natural products, so I can be rest assured that I am not inflicting my skin with more chemicals. Further, I feel the scrub is a little expensive for the quantity that we get and I wish for 200 INR, they could’ve at least given 100 gm as 50 gm is too less a quantity and if one is a frequent user, the scrub would finish in no time.
Summing up the pros and cons:
Pros of Khadi Rose, Apricot and Walnut Herbal Exfoliating Facial Scrub:
- Easily available.
- Wonderful fragrance.
- Effective in removing dirt and grime.
- Adds a lovely glow and brightness to the skin.
- Made up of herbal ingredients.
Cons of Khadi Rose, Apricot and Walnut Herbal Exfoliating Facial Scrub:
- A little pricey for the quantity that it offers.
- The open tub packaging can be a breeding ground for bacteria.
- Can end being a tad bit harsh if too much pressure is applied while scrubbing.
Overall, I must say that I am quite impressed with the scrub and I would recommend it wholeheartedly to everyone who is looking out for a good exfoliating scrub. It has a few minor cons and if we look past them, then this makes for an excellent product.
