I am back with another review and this time I am reviewing a foundation. I have purchased a lot of foundation from several brands as I am very much of lipstick and foundation person. I like collecting different foundations and trying them on me. So whenever I spot a new base or something that I do not own, I grab it as soon as possible. Today I am reviewing L.A. Girl PRO Matte Foundation Light Tan. I have used their very famous PRO Illuminating Foundation and loved it and so, I thought of trying this as well.

How To Use:

My Experience with L.A. Girl Pro Matte Foundation Light Tan:

L.A. Girl Pro Matte foundation comes in a sleek frosted glass bottle. The bottle has all the information regarding the foundation printed on it like the brand name, shade name, etc. The bottle has a black cap which shut locks and it is travel-friendly. The foundation has a pump dispenser which is very useful as it dispenses the right amount of product without any wastage. Overall, I really loved the packaging as it is sturdy as well as travel-friendly. It is very lightweight and not bulky to travel with.

This pro matte foundation comes in 21 shades which are quite impressive. Also, it becomes very difficult to choose the right shade amongst these 21 shades available especially online and also stores do not have all 21 shades available most of the time. The shade I am reviewing is “Light Tan”. I went through a lot of YouTube videos and pictures and I decided to go for the shade “Light Tan”. If you are NC42 in MAC, then go for the shade Light Tan and if you are above NC43, then go for Warm sienna. Hope this might be useful for those looking for their perfect shade. Also, this foundation oxidizes on me so always choose a shade lighter than your actual skin tone.

The foundation has a thick creamy formula with a velvety smooth texture to it. The foundation glides on very easily. It gives medium to full coverage and also it depends on the condition of the skin. I have blemished acne-prone skin and two layers of this foundation give me full coverage but my dark spots are still visible so I need a concealer post using this foundation, but if you are blessed with flawless skin then this foundation will give you a flawless-looking base. Also, the coverage depends on the way we are applying it if we apply it with a kabuki brush it will give more coverage and beauty blender will tone down its coverage.

The foundation provides an extreme matte finish and this foundation is not at all for dry skin people as it will definitely cling onto dry patches and will accentuate it more. I myself being an oily skin person apply a good moisturizer and then apply this foundation. It works great on oily skin people in hot and humid weather conditions.

The staying power of this pro matte foundation is amazing and it stays on my oily skin for good about 6 to 7 hours. After that, I felt the need of applying a compact powder only on my nose and forehead area. I always have a habit of setting my face with a compact after applying any foundation but when I apply this I don’t set my face with a compact as it is pretty mattifying.
