I am totally into matte nail polishes these days. After trying few shades from Maybelline Color Show Bright Mattes Nail Paint I tried matte nail paints from Lakme 9 to 5 Primer + Matte Nail Color range. This time I chose some nail paints through the IMBB Sponsorship Scheme. Thanks to the IMBB team for these little beauties. I chose three shades from the Lakme 9 to 5 Primer + Matte Nail Color range.

My Experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Primer + Matte Nail Color Blush, Green, Rosy:
Like all other Lakme 9 to 5 range nail polishes, these come in the same round shaped glass bottle with a rose gold cap. The shade is mentioned on a sticker on the side of the cap. It is a very simple and travel-friendly bottle. It also has a nice wand with a medium sized brush applicator. The brush picks up a good amount of the product and facilitates application.
As the name describes, it is a beautiful matte nail polish range which has a smooth medium-thin texture that glides easily and evenly occupies my nails. The formula is perfect and also dries out quickly. It takes around few minutes to dry, but for the best results, I have to wait for around 5-10 minutes. This range has 9 matte shades and one matte top coat. Most of the colours are pink and red; there are two different shades of green and charcoal too.
Also, all the shades are very much pigmented and require one to two strokes. These nail colors can provide good color pay off with a single stroke, but for the best smooth even result, I have to put the second stroke on it. I have picked up three shades from this range: Blush, Green and Rosy.
Blush:
This is a pastel pink kind of shade that looks super cute on the nails. It looks perfect for summer and carries a nice popping look. It will look best on medium skin tones. But, obviously, if you can carry it, it will look perfect on any skin tone.
Green:
This is a teal green shade, which is quite pigmented. In a single coat, it gives a good color pay-off. I have applied two coats for an even look. This colour will suit all skin tones.
Rosy:
This a subtle pink shade. If you add some more pink colour to the shade ‘Blush’ you will get ‘Rosy’ shade. It is also a cool summer colour. This shade is not too bright and looks very sober on the nails.
These shades last around 5-6 day and look nice on the nails for long. But, the matte finish starts to fade away after 4 days. Otherwise, it doesn’t chip quickly. But if you work a lot, then it starts to chip from the edges. Otherwise, it survives well and the shades are easy to remove as they do not stain the nails.
Overall:
It is a good matte range and looks pretty on the nails as well. I am in love with the colour range. Still, I feel these are costlier than Maybelline Color Show Bright Mattes Nail Paints.
