Purified water, Kaolin, Glycerin, Theobroma, Cocoa Powder, Theobroma cocoa seed butter, Zinc oxide, Hydrogenated castor oil, Magnesium Aluminium silicate, Xanthan gum, Pullulan, Parfum, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

Price: Rs 370 for 100 grams
Packaging:

Chocolate mask
The mask comes in a chocolate brown colored tube with a screw cap. You can easily squeeze out the required quantity. The tube packaging makes it so much easier and hygienic to use than tub ones.

Smell:
It smells heavily of chocolate. I think it smells exactly like the Nutella chocolate spread. The lovely smell really tempts you to taste it, so you should definitely keep this out of reach of small kids. 🙂

Texture:

Chocolate mask

The mask is not very thick and it gets easily squeezed out of the tube. You can see tiny brown particles in it which I think must be cocoa powder mentioned in the ingredients list. The texture is buttery and it spreads easily on the face without tugging at the skin or getting too dry.

My experience:

The mask dries pretty quickly after around 15 minutes and I could feel the skin getting really tight. I washed it off with water and not with milk like mentioned in the pack.:(  The cocoa particles in it give you a light scrub, but I don’t think it did too much since it was very tiny. It took some time for me to wash it all completely since it was a little sticky. Make sure to thoroughly wash your face and neck, or else it will give you a stretchy feeling. I did not wash the neck portion thoroughly the first time and I could feel the skin getting a tight feeling which is not good.

After washing and towel drying, I could feel that the skin has become soft and texture improved a little. In summer my skin gets very oily and after applying this pack, the skin looked in good condition and toned and it was not oily at all. However, I could see that there were little dry patches around mouth and nose. So, you should follow it up with a light moisturizer. I have used it a few times now and my skin looks smooth, toned and tighter after using this pack. However, it all goes back to the same the next day.

So, don’t expect any miracles from this. Also, it will not make you fairer. But, it is a very good mask to try in this summer especially if you have normal to oily skin.

Pros:
• Tube packaging and hence easy to use and hygienic.
• Texture is not thick and spreads easily on the face without tugging at it.
• Yummy chocolate smell.
• Skin feels smooth and even.
• Removes oiliness and gives you a toned look.
• Did not break me out.
• Tightens the skin like claimed to give you a young look.

Cons:
• Make sure to wash it off completely, else will give you a stretchy feeling.
• I noticed dry skin around my mouth and nose after washing. So use a light moisturizer afterwards.
• I am not impressed with the ingredients list and it also contains Parabens.
• Skin texture might improve with continuous usage, but don’t expect anything overnight.

IMBB Rating: 4/5

Will I recommend?
Yes. It is a good mask to try in this summer as my skin gets oily now. However, everyone’s skin reacts differently and I think dry skinned girls might not like this since it is not very moisturizing. There is nothing miraculous about this pack, but it is a great way to relax on weekends with this yummy smelling pack on face. 🙂
