Today, I am going to review the shade “Gloss Me I’m Gorgeous,” which is the face of the whole range. I am pretty sure shimmer is making a comeback and all cosmetic brands are trying shimmer in their products, and their will be a lot of hits and misses. So, let’s find out if the shade “Gloss Me I’m Gorgeous” is a hit or a miss!

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Gloss Me I’m Gorgeous 202 Dazzle Infallible Mega Gloss:
This lip gloss comes in a regular gloss packaging, which is transparent, hence you can see the color through the tube. The smart shiny black cap adds to the simple gorgeousness of the packaging. The applicator sponge is pretty unique in shape; one dip is enough to cover the lips as the sponge has a reservoir kind of thing in the middle where the color gets stored. The tip of the sponge is pointed, hence it is easy to reach the corners and give definition to the Cupid’s bow. Overall , he lip gloss has a smart and classy packaging.
The texture of the lip gloss is more like a lip gel, in my opinion. The good thing about this gloss is that it’s absolutely non sticky and yet imparts a good dose of moisture to the lips. This shade is low in pigmentation, so if you want full coverage and longer staying power, then opt for a lip liner beneath. This particular shade is from the “Dazzle finish” range and the application is patchy. No matter how many times I swipe the wand on the lips, it slips and blotches up.
The shade “Gloss Me I’m Gorgeous” might seem to be a whacky shade in the tube, but on the lips, the pigmentation is pretty sheer. The base is purple with lots of pink shimmer in it, looks way too gorgeous. If you are aiming for a bold shimmery lip look, then I would suggest to go for a lip liner beneath because the lip color would look patchy on its own.
The staying power depends on the food/fluid intake and also on the base on which it is applied. Without any base, it stays on my lips for 2-3 hours, after which, it starts to fade and shimmers stay back, which is not cool. I hate shimmers travelling all over the face, or even sticking on the lips for that matter. For me, the shimmers should also vanish with the lip color. Hence, it’s a NO for me. At this price range, we deserve something better L’Oreal!
