I had purchased sugar scrubs, a new launch from L’Oréal. Today’s reviw is all about L’Oréal Paris Smooth and Glow Sugar Scrub. Read on to know more.

My Experience with L’Oréal Paris Smooth and Glow Sugar Scrub:
The product comes in a sealed cardboard package. All the information is on the box once you open the box; there is no information on the tub. The scrub comes in a sturdy wide mouthed glass jar with golden beige screw cap. The cap closes with a click and this ensures the safety of it when you are traveling. The tub package makes it a little unhygienic, but other than that I have no issues with the package and love it. You can see the quantity of the product through the glass jar too.
The scrub is tight and has a thick consistency. It is completely brown in color and has minute sugar particles for exfoliation. There is no stopper on the mouth like the other one, but since it has a thick consistency it doesn’t flow. It smells very citrusy and fresh. The usage is pretty easy. You need to apply the scrub onto the face and then massage it with wet fingers dipped in warm water.
The sugar particles are extremely fine and are very gentle on the skin. It doesn’t cause any redness or irritation and makes it suitable for sensitive skin too. The sugars gently melt onto the skin when scrubbing. The product removes all the dead skin effectively and gets rid of any dry dead cells from the face. The product is versatile and can be used on lips too. It gently exfoliates to reveal beautiful lips that make a perfect base for matte lipsticks. The scrub is also very easy to remove and makes your skin very smooth and soft. It adds plumpness to the skin and I absolutely love it.
The product also adds radiance to the skin, but what I have noticed is that this radiance is short-lived and disappears soon. My face looked the same the next day and didn’t have much difference expect that it was polished and free from dead skin cells. I do not see any luminous skin polishing effect. The product is not drying and you can go on without a moisturizer for long. The product moisturizes the skin well. The product is a bit expensive for a scrub but other than this, the scrub is good and it is not a must buy.

Yes, but I wouldn’t repurchase it again as it is just like a normal scrub.
