Hello sweeties!

I hope you all are having a good time in your lives! I recently got a lot of volumizing products to actually test which ones work the best for me because I badly need some volume to give a nice lift to my hair. This pick is from L’Oreal and it makes great quality and highly professional products, so I was expecting a lot from this. Let’s see whether this one lived upto my expectations or not!

Price:
$6-7 (I got it for 445)

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Studio Line Boost and Gloss Volume Spray:

L’Oreal Paris Studio Line has been a very famous range for amazing hair styling products and I am always keen to try them out. The spray I picked up comes in a cylindrical metallic silver bottle with a combination of pink and purple. It nicely mentions all the details and usage guide too. The packaging is great with a spray nozzle which works perfectly, but it is pretty big in size so cannot be carried around. I was expecting this to be used on damp hair, but it is instructed to be used on dry hair. The spray is like water and the fragrance is a chemical one. It smells strongly of loaded chemicals, and very similar to a nail remover. I wish they had put a nice scent to it.

I turned my hair upside down and sprayed this generously all over my hair targeting mainly the roots. The moment I flipped my hair, my hair looked like cactus. They were up from all different places and had become stiff. This claimed to give a style without stiffness, then why was that happening to me?! I somehow managed to come it and settle it in place. But, that caused a lot of breakage because my hair had turned stiff and crunchy. I has to comb it for a long time to make it all look better. Yes, it did give volume to my hair and I little curls at the ends, and it did hold those curls for like 2 hours.

So basically, it did the volume and the hold job well, but my hair did not look natural at all. It did not look like I had washed it an hour ago. But, soon they settled a bit and the crunchiness was reduced, but I wasn’t happy because my hair did not look fresh and healthy. The stiffness developed a lot of kinks and knots in my hair. So, I think I would use it until the bottle finishes but would look out for something better the next time.

Pros of L’Oreal Paris Studio Line Boost and Gloss Volume Spray:

• Comes in a colourful and bright packaging in silver and purple
• The packaging is convenient with a spray nozzle
• The spray is really easy to use
• It gives nice volume and lift to my hair
• It does not give any greasy feeling
• It is a good hold spray which will hold your hairstyles in place

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Studio Line Boost and Gloss Volume Spray:

• It gave my hair stiffness and they felt really hard
• Makes hair crunchy
• The smell is full of chemicals and almost like a nail polish remover
• It did not give much shine to the my hair
• My hair did not look naturally bouncy at all
• My hair did not look fresh and no one could say that I had actually washed them

Would I Repurchase/Recommend L’Oreal Paris Studio Line Boost and Gloss Volume Spray?
No, I wouldn’t! If you are looking for a hold spray, it is very good. But, if you are looking for a volumizing product, this is just not it because it makes hair look stiff and crunchy.

IMBB Rating:
3/5

Conclusion:
L’Oreal Paris Studio Line sprays and serums work really well, but I think this one just does not fit into that category, so just skip it!
