My Experience with Max Factor 45 Sapphire Rage Wild Shadow Pot:

This Wild Collection is a bright collection. It offers bright neon colours and a very few daily wearable colours. I love the colour blue and when I saw the intensity of the colour, I wanted to pick it up. Out of the colours available, I picked pink and blue. I picked these pots for my trip to Iceland.

The eyeshadow comes in travel-friendly pots. Each pot has a transparent screw lid and you can see the colour of the eye shadow. The screw lid is tight but the cap, if the pot falls, can break. So you need to be careful. The tub is black in colour and has a very little product information. The packaging is similar to the Max Factor’s Miracle blush range. However, considering the size, these are very easy to pop in a bag or purse to suit the needs. This means, instead of carrying a whole palette, you can just carry a pot or two.

The eye shadow lives up to its name Sapphire Rage. The colour is a beautiful blue and looks like a mixture of azure and sapphire. It isn’t as light as azure or as dark as sapphire. The colour has tiny sparkles and gives a shiny effect, not a matte look. The colour is rich and heavily pigmented; the swatch in the picture is just one-time application. The eyeshadow gives a bright blue shade and the longevity is what I like. The product stays on my eyelids for a complete day without any primer. Considering the heavy pigmentation, the colour stays put and doesn’t fade away. I have oily eyelids and after some time the eyeshadows on my eyes usually settle into the crease. But this eyeshadow doesn’t bleed or fade away soon.

The colour stays in place for more than 8 hours without fading. The wild pot is powdery and is extremely soft and it is easy to blend. But, considering it’s a bright colour, there are chances that you can go overboard. So you need to be a little careful and build up the product gradually instead of taking it all at once on the brush. The product is easy to build and you can achieve the desired effect. The product is easy to blend. You can either create subtle looks or can go for wild ones with this colour.

As it is powdery in texture, there is a lot of fallout during application. And, as the colour is wild, it can also add a little stain under the eyes. So, care has to be taken before and during application. The colours in this range are perfect for the gloomy winter. This one brightens up the day and makes the eye color pop. It is a perfect blue colour and can be used to create very rich and royal looks. The price is a little heavy for the content; but for the quality, it is worth every single cent. So, summing up:
