With a light, silky texture, Earth Spirits is ideal to create a subtle day look for the office or a dramatic, sexy look in the evening. Micro colour pigments mean that colours are resistant to creasing or fading and there’s a colour to suit every occasion – choose from soft neutrals through to strong, fashion colours hot off the catwalks of Milan and Paris.
Part of my weekend shopping, I got myself some of this range, I have one and I loved it, the texture and shades are great and I love the lightweight container these come in, whats more it is the easiest eye shadow to depot! Trust me I have depotted three of them 😛
The cost is fine but kind of on the higher side…but I think most brands have hiked prices like there is no tomorrow, I am quite amused at the current pricing, wish I could get myself a bag full of makeup from the states, considering how expensive drugstore makeup has gotten in India! Sigh!
The color is a very pretty gray black, initially I thought this is a black but I was wrong, it is a satin grey with black undertones to it but trust me it shows up as a deeper gray and even if you pack it on, it looks like a grey only.
The texture is silky soft, I can call it satin, there is no chalky or powdery feel to it honestly and I love how there is minimal fall out, being a deep color it really doesn’t disappoint you. You can say the pigmentation is good too but yes, it might not show up as grey in the pan, on the eye.
It stays on well above average on its own, and on the primer, it stays easily for 4plus hours. I am happy with everything about this shadow and range will recommend trying out shades if you think 375 for a single shadow is good enough.
It blends very well, and the texture is velvety, not at all coarse. The shade does not have shimmer but it has a little pearl effect, you cannot call it a matte. Overall it is a great color if we dont want to handle black eyeshadows. This is really THE color for a smokey eye, since it is not so black yet it is intense. Really love the shade. And here is my smoked out eye 😛
4.5/5 (Plastic could be little flimsy but I love how easily you can depot it :P)
