Today, I am going to share my review on a new eyebrow product called MUA Eyebrow Pencil Black/Brown. Let’s get into the details.

My Experience with MUA Eyebrow Pencil Black/Brown:
MUA Brow Pencil comes in a dark brown wooden form. One side has a pointed pencil tip, while another side has a flat brush. This pencil needs to be sharpened but you do not get any sharpener with it, which creates a little trouble. On the both sides, it has a normal clear cap that protects it nicely. It is quite an affordable pencil.
I picked the shade Black/Brown, which is a nice dark brown shade. It provides that right amount of deep colour to the eyebrows, but it is a little dark shade for my eyebrows. But there are no lighter shades available. I always prefer natural shades and it is quite dark, almost blackish brown. It is best for those with deep black eyebrows. Anyway, this shade is very much pigmented, which always needs application with a light hand, or otherwise, it looks overpowering.
This pencil has very soft, creamy texture that glides easily without any effort, but it is not good for an eyebrow pencil. Due to its super creamy texture, it is quite difficult to keep control on the application and it gets too dark on my eyebrows, and so I need to set it again. It glides like automatically on the eyebrows which I don’t prefer. But, I can manage the application carefully and then I always use that brush to blend the product evenly, and the brush works nicely to do that. It smoothly blends the product and provides me with fuller, thick and bold eyebrows. This pencil defines the eyebrows well and gives them a deeper look, but it loses its shape a little, once I use that brush to blend it evenly. Somehow, I feel that it makes me look made up. I love my normal natural looking eyebrows rather than those deep dark brows. So, I can’t work with it properly.
Also, this formula is not smudge proof or transfer proof. So, it gets spared easily around my eyebrows and can’t provide me that perfect defined eyebrows. I have an extremely oily skin and I sweat a lot, so it is quite difficult to stay perfectly on my skin type. It looks messy after a few hours, and if I touch my eyebrows, it smudges a lot. So, it is definitely not for people with oily skin.
Coming to the staying powder, it didn’t last long on me. It stays for around 2 hours, and then it starts to get messy and looks quite rough. It even transfers to my finger and it looks horrible sometimes. I am really not satisfied with this product. I have so many good products, and during this summer, I can’t use this.

- Too creamy texture
- Can’t control the application
- Looks overpowering on the eyebrows
- Does smudge and transfers a lot
- Not for oily or sweaty skin
- Doesn’t last long
- Looks so messy when touched

No, I have super oily skin and it doesn’t stay perfectly on me. There are so many good products in the market. So, you can skip it.
